There was also a reddit post 5 days ago from the MarkMyWords subreddit. It's gone now but it said that the Republican party will hide Trump's death for as long as possible.

Probably bots manipulating the narrative.

Although coincidentally, the burning of Zozobra was tonight. For those unaware it's a yearly ritual in New Mexico to burn an effigy representing the past year's anxiety, worries, and gloom to prepare for a hope and renewal.

I'm foreseeing this game getting treated just like Forspoken, tbh. Issues with the game getting severely overblown and "gamers" attacking others for daring to like it. I'm mostly seeing it elsewhere though, not here. Though I haven't even looked in the boards for the game itself or PS5.

What the hell is Tsubasa's necklace called? I've seen that type of necklace a few times recently and it looks like it's for something, but I can't find anything about it when I try.

I dunno what it's called but according to her concept art it's a container to keep screwdriver heads in. Maybe that might help with the search?

I think people are misunderstanding something. Yes, technically that's how things goes. But from the get-go they knew this was going to happen, because it's what they want to happen, as their plan was to be in charge all along. And the only way to make that happen is to get shit stain through the door first. This is the main reason why I think 2024 was rigged. It really makes the most sense honestly.

From what I'm hearing, the beginning is rough but gets way better after the tutorial. Also the English dub sucks majorly.

Smash burgers are good, my favorite are from Freddy's. The caramelization that occurs gives the meat a nice slight crisp and good taste to it.

On the slow feeling, did you try setting the camera to dynamic? I don't know what it is but that somehow makes the game feel faster even if it isn't.

A shame the OST isn't great though, that's usually a plus for Sonic games. They've kinda been missing a bit lately in that area though.

I'm assuming I'm safe if a browser I'm using has AI assistance but I have that shit turned off, right? Because yeah I found this out a few days ago and it's disturbing, yet expected.

Wide appeal with character designs is my bet. That's part of why the franchise's popularity kicked off, as the "cool" alternative to Mario.

I know for me character design means a lot. The Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 era is where I truly got into Sonic and I miss how stylish the character designs were for the franchise back then.

To be fair the Spindash that was added later in the game was REALLY overtuned. You absolutely can fly over the map like that with it.

Man, watching that just made me think I'd probably *love* that open-world Sonic game. Dashing around a big, open map at Sonic (heh) speeds is *exactly* what I would want out of a 3D Sonic game~

It's definitely part of what kept me playing is just mindlessly dashing around like that. Couple that with each map actually having a bunch of *things* to do or collect without even progressing the story.

Though I am more of a fan of a Sonic experience where you have a clear start and end goal. Maybe in the next one if they made each linear zone more open to allow for so many more ways to reach the end. Kinda like what Shadow Gens did but less floating platform level-design.

The food is good-average and the gift shop and candy they sell in the store section is a cool novelty thats fun to check out or buy since most of the items are kind of rare.

But you mostly eat there for the atmosphere more then anything.

This. I haven't dined in at restaurants much ever since the pandemic but a lot of the "flavor" of eating at Cracker Barrel is lost if I just get take out. Otherwise it's just alright. Probably my favorite is the grilled catfish.

I'm guessing shooting range was the hardest part, lol.

I'm planning to go back to the game to get the Platinum as well. I wish a USB mouse or something was supported on console since I know the shooting range is gonna be hell.

I've never seen that tag before, it sounds funny to me, lol. Then again I never really paid attention to PEGI rating tags.

Also, there might be a possibility that they're going to revisit the lost lore of the original Air Ride game where murals can be found about a mysterious three-eyed monster, which kinda looks a bit creepy.

This, I see that all the time with the elderly. There's just a lot of hopium going around that it's a death knell when really Trump probably has at least a couple years left in him. Would be surprised if he kicks the bucket before 2026 though.

It's funny that the first thing I thought of if the stuff gets leaked is to sue the federal government but I'm pretty sure that is an impossibility.

could be that the team was just more comfortable using UE5, and that UE5 hsd better support. kinda hard to learn a custom framework when the original architect isn't around anymore.

Genuinely a lot more people need to contribute to StrategyWiki, tbh. It's an independently-owned wiki site where people can submit HTML(?) guide pages on a game-by-game basis. Once I have more time on my hands I'm wanting to convert my written guides here (and video guides on Youtube) into stuff onto StrategyWiki.

Edit: Rika_Furude, that's exactly the thing I'm trying to prevent with my video guides. No lengthy introduction, very specific subjects, easy searchability within the playlist, chapters within the videos you can jump to if there's multiple subjects I happen to cover, all that good stuff that makes a text guide very quick and informative except you have the (IMO, clearer) visual aspect to go along with that.

Oh for sure, I didn't include you in that. Just I've seen other people do it.

Also probably MGS was good because Kojima probably wasn't the only creative lead behind them, lol. Granted, I haven't played Death Stranding (either of them) yet so I dunno about those. But I did quite enjoy all the MGS games.

I don't particularly understand it either, but I also don't understand the sudden shift of "Kojima was never good and the MGS series are terrible games actually" that I've seen being thrown around. I remember the series being quite loved and iconic for the most part and MGS1 was very influential.

Yeah, I use it myself. I don't particularly mind the re-design, and some parts I think were re-implemented in a better way than the original.

I do wish the old way to add compilation/collection titles existed though. I just add the compilation as a game and set the completion status as None.

Mega Man is also famous for doing that. They based a handful of the stage songs on riffs from popular rock music, IIRC.

Even if it's fake, that kind of situation definitely seems real, especially teenagers lieing for attention. They need to learn from an early age that lying about people can cause a lot of trouble.

Excatly why I worked for myself. I had no one else over me. My partner and I discussed if we need a new product line or if something needed dropped thats about the extent of our issues. In the 25y we were in business we employed 10 people. 3 at the store. Each had their issues no one was perfect. At the farm I had 7. 2 Seasonal pecan pickers and sorters worked fine for a decade. That was about it. It's hard work and most couldnt handle it. At the end it was just him and me. Its all we could depend on. And those last 3y it was all me.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping to do, myself. Start my own business or just work for myself somehow. Just need to find something that'll be guaranteed to sustain me since breaking into the game dev scene self-employed (though it is my dream) is a bit difficult.
