It saved the series financially but it nosedived the quality. Fates was also trash, but Echoes and Three Houses fortunately brought the quality back up.

Raine is tempting, but I think the biggest issue would be getting over the lifespan thing. Even half elves apparently live to over 1000 years. At that rate a normal lifespan for a human is basically nothing. So yes, you can go for it, but you also are always going to have the realization in the back of your mind that you're never probably going to be "the only one" and even if you two are, you're going to have to leave her alone for 90% more of her lifespan.

I'll just install an advanced exsphere. It'll slowly absorb my essence, so after I die she can use a key crest to equip me. I can enhance her abilities during my cursed existence as an immobile consciousness.

Do any of these descriptions apply to you?

1: Square Enix fan from back in the day. Sony fanboy at some point in the past, still doesn't particularly care for Nintendo. You hate that Square is wasting an IP and resources developing for a Nintendo console.

2: Square Enix fan from back in the day. Still defended Nintendo back during the console wars, and feels that The World Ends With You validated that time. It's become on of your all time favorites, and you hate Octopath for taking the place of a much needed sequel.

3: Old school JRPG fan, sided with Nintendo during the console wars. You spent years suffering from that choice, and years insisting to yourself that Square is trash now. Xenoblade Chronicles was the first exclusive in a decade, so you had to revere it as the greatest JRPG of all time. Octopath is surely inferior.

Three groups that hate each other and hated Octopath before it released.

It's leaps an bounds better than the original or course, that game has aged horribly even for an NES game. I like it better than Super and Fusion too.

Fusion followed up Super. It had intense fanboys, they wouldn't have accepted anything. ZM was a remake, and since they already hated Fusion they had low expectations. Fusion had already stopped the series "perfect track record" in their mind. Old Metroid fanboys are weird. In the Metroid Prime 3 days people used to consider it a a mark against the game that it didn't explain why Ridley was alive in Super. But they didn't consider that a mark against the first Prime, only 3. Because reasons.

I usually end up disliking dark types that I try. But I often really like pokemon that get dark as a secondary type.

After a year it would start to get noticed, but wouldn't cause societal change. It could be bad in cultures where a male heir is seen as necessary, so there would probably be a slight bump in number of pregnancies

It would be 4-6 years before it starts affecting classrooms, which is were the social effects would start being studied. The first year or two would have most boys starting early in order to have other boys in their class, despite the disadvantages. But after that things would get experimental. Most elementary schools would only have 2 or 3 boys enroll each year, with very rural schools having just one or even none. Some schools would just let the boys be alone in a class. Some school districts would put all the boys in one class at one school so there's a least a handful, and some might even start only enrolling boys every other year to increase the size of each class. A lot of boys would be put in alternative schooling. It would take a long time before the best options are worked out.

It would be 15-17 years before it starts affecting the workforce. This is where it really starts affecting things economically, so there'd be more drive to change. Shelves will start being built lower because average height will decrease by a few inches. Shipping and supply will start using smaller cases of products so they're not as heavy. Bathroom breaks will have to be a lot more frequent, and employers will have to suck it up and change their standards. Pop culture would start shifting a lot too, as the people spending money are changing.

It'll be 19-24 years before it's starting to really affect demographics of colleges, managers, white collar offices, and voters. Things will really get mixed up now. Male dominated fields will start to shift. Physically demanding jobs will have to adapt. This is also when teen pregnancies will finally start to decline, though intentional adult pregnancies probably would be significantly reduced for a few more years.

After 25-30 years change will be massive. Technology and laws pertaining to sperm donation, artificial insemination, child support and whatnot will have already been extensively worked on. But this is where its use really starts to increase. Family dynamics will really start to change. Workplaces will be much different. Horrible countries where women are particularly oppressed might see change.

After 50 years women might finally make up the majority of congress or other political bodies. The Catholic church would be running out of priests, they would have to give women leadership roles or crumble. Though it could take a full 80 years before they run out of Cardinals that are eligible to vote for Pope.

That's not right. Superheroes hadn't been unbanned. The climax of the first movie was still illegal, but they were given a pass for it since so much death was stopped. The fight with the Underminer was unsuccessful, thus the laws that were still in place were used against the family.

It definitely helped him in 2016, I know super old ladies voting for the first time in order to vote against Clinton. Hopefully it's not enough to make a difference, but it could matter.

Amish generally follow conservative beliefs. The main exception is that they're pro refugee, but that's not an issue that's getting much attention.

The performance issues in S/V boil down to visual bugs and some lag at the start of battles in populated areas. You definitely notice it, but do background NPCs losing frames of animation as they get further away really hurt your experience? Not really. S/V is astronomically better than Sw/Sh. The only thing that truly hurts that actual experience is when raids glitch out.

S/V also has amazing QoL updates (some present in Legend's Arceus). You can relearn moves anywhere, including TM moves you erased. All daycare functions can be done through a picnic, which you can do almost anywhere. Menu navigation is good. If you level up pokemon and they want to learn a move you don't want, hit B instead of scrolling down to "don't learn" and pressing A. This sort of thing save hours of text time over a playthrough.

Although I still think Legend's Arceus is the best. It's the most immersive pokemon game for sure.

If you're thinking about buying that or Paper Mario, buy PoR. You can get the remaster of TTYD.

I would rather the series had died than continue as just Awakening and Fates crap. Fortunately Echoes and Three Houses were pretty good. I figure that Heroes is a suitable outlet for those fans. They can buy microtransactions to collect waifus and the main games can have actual characters with romance only being a small aspect.

Riku can sense he's not the AnsemSOD that had been haunting him throughout the game (which yeah, is only an echo of the actual AnsemSOD we beat in the first game) and calls him out on not being "the real Ansem." Which becomes ironic since DiZ is the real Ansem, but no one knew at the time.

This also reminds me of how the AnsemSOD you fight in DDD isn't the AnsemSOD who's in the real Organization. The former is the echo in Riku's heart, and the latter is the true one from the past. So there were two AnsemSODs in that game.

I bolded your mistake. Riku doesn't sense that it's not AnsemSOD, he smells that it's not AnsemSOD. Chain of Memories Riku navigates through his acute sense of smell being able to locate and identify various sources of darkness. He tells us many times.

It did until like 6 months before the Xbox One and PS4 came out. It won when they two were the main consoles, but PS3 support continued for more than half the time the PS4 was their main console. Although I guess you could argue the PS4 was still Sony's main console for the first 3 years of the PS5s life too.

The plot going forward is based off of a pay to win mobile game that's been discontinued, so even if you wanted to spend the money or many additional hours grinding (the actual story is 13 hours) you can't do so anymore.
