Also the next movie is very clearly going to be Sonic Heroes, but Metal Sonic is the villain from the beginning. Cream and Big will be introduced to give Amy teammates, Rouge will be introduced and either Omega or Stone with robotics will fill the role. They'll skip team Chaotix.

They're not touching SA1 or Chaos because Ken Penders will sue them and they'd rather just not deal.

It was really incredible how they managed to be faithful to all the important story beats and emotion from the original story, but make it fit in with the universe they had established in the first two. And it was still funny, and it had some good original and meaningful material. Shadow mistakingly hurting Sonic's friend let them understand the same pain. And both were kinda accidents, the GUN leader felt bad for what happened to Maria, Shadow felt bad for hurting an innocent.

If we offer sympathy to the evil pieces of shit that hurt Harris' campaign, they will stay organized, feel validated, and next election they will once again commit an act of evil and help republicans. If we treat them how they deserve to be treated, they will be unable to organize next election, and they will fail to harm democrats as much as they have.

If a voter had to choose between Kamala's unspoken acceptance of continued genocide & slaughter, or a Trump plan to relocate the Gazan's to another country, then it's completely understandable for that voter to pull the lever for Trump.

No voters were faced with anything close to that choice. The choice was Kamala's weakly resisting the genocide, and Trump assisting and accelerating the genocide, intentionally killing far more people than Kamala would have tried and failed to save.

I think I've pieced together the mystery. My prediction is that in ancient times, it was realized that a galaxy wide economy is too volatile to sustain. To account for this, At Attin (originally all of the Jewels, but it's the only one still functioning) was purposely isolated to maintain a powerful economy that backs the whole galaxy. Everyone learns advanced economics as children to serve that function. No matter how bad things get in the galaxy at large, the credits are inherently backed by At Attin's. There's probably a handful of people that do interact with the Republic (and follow the economy), and there's a quarterly or annual exchange to keep things balanced, maybe occasional bailouts. It's basically like West Germany early in the EU, but taken to an extreme. This function is maintained through every regime, and even Palpatine wouldn't be foolish enough to interfere with their role and risk crashing the economy (you can't control people if you can't pay your governors or soldiers).

So the "treasure" isn't their actual credits or anything, it's the fact that At Attin can freely manipulate the value of everything else in the galaxy.

Also, I think that force users add unpredictability to markets, so to minimize that they discourage the force. He took actions, implementing policies, that he knew would kill hundreds of thousands of people. He deliberately took actions that he knew the primary result would be suffering and death of innocent people. He is irrefutably evil by any remotely reasonable metric. He objectively made the world a worse place.

And for the record, every other person on the board of directors is equally evil. The same is true of any health insurance company.

It was overall pretty bad but there's usual one or two great jokes per episode. There were some decent writers.

The first step to defeating a problem is admitting you have a problem.

It is, but if you only ever take the first step, you won't defeat the problem. Consider second steps.

You are going to be met with hostility. Sometimes you will make progress and still be criticized for not making more. That doesn't make it futile though. Sometimes you have to get better without recognition. It takes time. Put up with a little nastiness to make as much progress as you can, walk away when it's more hurtful than helpful. You don't have to take a beatdown, but don't lash out at everyone that's rude. A lot of views don't deserve to be argued against courteously.

But you seem to be in a mood where you're receptive to broadening your view. If you're willing to listen and try to understand some views, I will entertain your arguments and viewpoints to have an actual discussion.

Ok. Thank you for actually considering information that conflicted with your views. Now, try to make positive improvements to your behavior now that you know better.

Think about why you had trouble understanding the issues, and how you were able to overcome your biases. Consider loved ones that may still have those biases, but are willing to discuss the issues with you, like your parents. Share with them the sort of information that led you having more empathy. Use your understanding of their viewpoints to determine what kind of information they'd be receptive to consider.

Even if you or they are still in favor of a harsh ruling for your own reasons, try to get them to understand the other side and why those concerns are valid.
