Sure, but at some point your upbringing stops excusing your veiwpoints an behavior, and it's around 16. If they were homeschooled or something, probably a few years later. But in most situations that's about it.

I don't think any of the children that were forced to move their by their parents should be there. But if they have been adequately exposed to other veiwpoints (which younger kids are not, 16ish year olds MIGHT) and still agreed with this extreme plan, then they deserve to suffer until they learn better too.

Around that age. I don't know them specifically, so I couldn't say for sure. There are definitely 16 year olds that genuinely don't know any better and would change if they had more information. But there are definitely 16 years olds that have had every opportunity learn and should know better, but have chosen to be evil. In this case the hypothetic sane relatives getting them out would know which deserve it or not.

Hopefully any of the children under 15 or so can get out and live with a less horrible relative. And hopefully the rest get stuck and live in absolute misery for as long as they hold homophobic beliefs.

It doesn't make sense to take a day off to travel to the other side of the county to change your voter registration in person just so that you can vote against someone that's already gotten enough votes in other states to win the nomination. Especially because that gives your state's corrupt Republican SoS to use some screwy voter suppression laws to invalidate your registration, "accidentally" or not.

Pennsylvania is weird state. A massive amount of the voters are independents, and there's closed primaries. If there were open primaries (and if they were an early state) Bernie might have won in 2016. A lot of those independents were braindead morons that switched from Bernie to Trump because they cared about having an outsider more than literally anything at all about actual platform.

A huge subset of independents heavily favored Trump in 2020. They were butthurt that they lost tips during covid shutdowns. However, everything changed when Roe was overturned. Now their reproductive rights were in danger. They were certainly willing to let trans people get genocided, but making it harder for them to get birth control is too far. With closed primaries, Republicans selected a full blown, unapologetic white supremacist (he goes to costume parties as a confederate soldier, and his campaign made an add specifically designed to run on Stormfront type websites, actual open white supremacy sites).

An with an outright white supremacist running for governor scaring the sociopathically selfish independents to vote blue, and a Muslim snake oil salesman dropping enthusiasm for republicans, Democrats did great in 2022 and are consistently looking good. We can also thank Trump's election fraud lie causing some Republicans to lose faith and stop voting.

Caution though, Nazis are still getting some seats on city councils and school boards.

Since he didn't actually lose, he could still get a cabinet seat I guess.

Saudi Arabia is in da process of building thousands of kilometers of pipes to deliver desalinated water to cities, and to create tens of thousands of acres of farmland so dat dey will no longer be dependent on imported food. As Neil pointed out, desalination is extremely energy intensive, but an even bigger problem might be what to do with da tons of concentrated brine dat is left over. You cant just dump it back into da sea, unless you dont care about completely destroying da oceanic ecosystem.

I'm glad that schools keep doing this. Educators are putting in work to "follow" the ridiculous law in the most tongue-in-cheek way possible to keep attention on the law and just how horrifically broad it is. They can still get the students the information they need, and frame it with a "this is what Republicans to keep you from learning."

As a bonus, it could help teachers identify students that may need protection. Any parents that would actually deny such permissions is dangerous.

I don't believe that you have to actively seek to hurt people to be an asshole. think that if you're completely inconsiderate of others (like he was), don't accept accountability, are dismissive of how you affect others, and won't even attempt to adjust your behavior then you're still an asshole.

He certainly starting improving those things after they broke up (actually, he got worse and got a DUI, but after the recovery he improved). We see later in the series that he got a lot better. And while his temper tantrum at the bar and attacking Jim weren't right, they were understandable.

There absolutely has been a cultural shift in regards to dealing with Karens. Restaurant and retail managers are far, far more likely to defend their employees from abusive customers than they were 15-20 years ago when millennials started entering the adult workforce.

Sure, some unreasonable assholes get free food more often than they used to, but belligerence is less tolerated. Employees can get in trouble from calls to corporate, but there's a lot more leniency for people that (justifiably) lost their temper.
