My dirty little secret is that I only own about 100 physical games... total. I bet most people on here have more than 100 per system alone, but eh, I don't know how somebody could possibly have the time to play all those. I haven't even played nearly all of my games, so it's enough for me. I don't want to valuate each, so I'm going to just say $20 per might be a good estimate. Some are worth a lot less, but some a lot more. So that would make mine worth about $2000 total. |

Why do young kids even need cell phones? We got by without them when I was a kid. I wouldn't want my kid to have a cell phone until at least middle school, but I'm sure that will involve many years of suffering through "But all the other kids have one" since apparently at some point, new parents within the past fifteen years collectively decided that kids having cell phones is just going to be the norm I don't really care if they play reasonably tame console games, if anything I bet playing video games helped me with stuff like learning how to read early |

Cool, you can distort your guitar and put an unnecessary amount of drumming (although this particular one isn't as excessive with the drums). They always end up sounding so similar to each other and while some are okay, I wish people would challenge themselves more often to make covers in other musical styles. Metal seems to be the "default" style do do a cover since everyone thinks people who play video games also like metal |

| DorkLink 08/11/17 3:59:36 PM #19 | I didn't really care about it to begin with anyway. Now that nothing is off the table for a reboot or revival, the whole concept isn't interesting anymore. I think most of these things are probably better off left dead. It's one thing if a show that ended in its peak comes back from a one or two year hiatus, but that pretty much never seems to be the case. It's always way too much later and/or after the show already was going downhill. I'm guessing the KotH revival will have voice actors that sound way too old and like they're mailing it in, too many forced attempts to make modern references, and some kind of cheap, soulless animation that only vaguely resembles the original style. |

The cape (much like Yoshi) was overpowered. In open air levels you could just fly over pretty much the whole thing with the glide. Of course they still could have nerfed it for later games, but then it would basically just be like having the Tanooki. I understand why they went with the Tanooki suit/tail, because it's more iconic. It was introduction to Mario flying. A cape is also very generic, but the Tanooki is this mystical power that most non-Japanese audiences associate specifically with Mario (although it actually comes from Japanese legend and Nintendo didn't invent it). |
