I still don't know much about finishers. Are there any that go well with Orlandu and Dark Veritas, or are finishers not about "going well" with others?

I see finishers as basically just a high damage move, whether it is a single hit, or a multiple chain hit, that you can time to come at the end of easy chaining characters so that it does it's maximum damage.

People like Olive because she has that one move that can single hit for over 1 million damage if timed to hit at the end of a chain, but I can use Fryevia for pretty much the exact same purpose by having her use her Blitz at the end of a Divine Ruination chain and all of her hits add up to well over a million as well.

I tried RK, but it just took too much investment and I had a harder time enjoying it. I like much simpler gacha style games since I don't like to spend more than an hour or two at most playing each game on my phone per day.

Yeah, with my inability to TMR Macro farm, I am mostly relegated to what I get with Moogles and Trial rewards.

I'm lucky to even have an Orlandeau in the 900s range.

I feel like she is overshadowed by the much more popular Minfilia though. The only people who probably don't have Minfilia is anyone who started after the last FFXIV raid event.

My standard Raid Team hasn't one shot elite yet.

Orlandeau - Divine Ruination (chain)
Fryevia - Frost Flower Blitz (cap)
Tilith - Stat Buff
Elza - Ravaging Blow
Ace - Tri Beam Laser
Orlandeau Friend - Divine Ruination (chain)

This team usually never fails me in raids, but Engels is pretty resistant. I don't have any Machine Killer yet (I think I've only ever pulled 8 Edgars), and sadly if I don't one shot Engels with this team, they are pretty much wiped out end of Turn 1.

I can do it easily in a couple turns though if I use my Tank Team:

I'm not super hardcore, and play only about an hour or so a day. I still can't seem to figure out what to farm to ascend my Heracles past 50 and Waver past 60.

I need 8 Void Dusts and 5 Caster pieces for Waver.
I need 6 Octuplet Crystals and 3 Berserker pieces for Heracles.

I spend my energy on Chaldea > Daily > Event Quests on all 3 difficulties Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced through all 3 rounds until I get the Cubes at the end. Once I run out of energy, I stop playing, sometimes for the rest of the day. But I've been playing since launch day, and I've logged in every day and I still have these unascended Servants :(

I watched tonight's airing and I think that production made Paul look plenty bad.

The people that the edit made look clean/better were:
Cody - keeping his cool and taking his harassment like a champ.
Jess - keeping her cool and taking her harassment like a champ.
Matt - keeping his mouth shut and using the diary room to say that the house was acting badly.
Mark - keeping his mouth shut and using the diary room to say that the house was acting badly.

People who avoided any kind of editing to make their character worse/better:
Kevin - We see him walk around a lot, that's about it.
Elena - I don't even recall her in the episode lol.

Everyone else got a fairly negative edit from harassment.
Paul, Josh, Raven, and Jason definitely got a pretty negative edit, especially with Paul acting like a child, Josh acting extremely immature as usual, and Raven doing the double bird flip and acting like a complete idiot and being shady and grabby during her confrontation with Jess. Jason just seemed to be acting like a asshat in general.

Alex and Christmas looked bad for sidelining it, and popping in a comment once in a while, but not as bad as the above 4.

That's what I took from the edit at any rate. While you may not get the visual justice you were hoping for in regards to the "bullying," I do think that production fairly villainized and martyred appropriately. There's only so much they can do in an hour, and they still need to keep the show entertaining to watch, but at least nothing was really skewed by the edit by the sounds of it.


Anyone who watched tonight's episode and think Paul was being portrayed favorably must be watching a completely different show than me. My wife doesn't get spoiled, and even she felt bad for Jess and Cody and thought Paul was awful.

What day of the week, or what particular dungeon, do I need to be clearing regularly to evolve my Waver past 60 and my Heracles past 50?

I am not a consistent player, so they've been kind of stuck at those levels a while now.


SSR and SR I have:
Waver 60
Heracles 50
Lily 40
Marie 40
Lancelot 40
Emiya 40

Then basically a bunch of 3* and lower Servants.

I don't have any 5* Craft Essences other than event freebies.

rulers deal full damage, they just don't have any benefits except for Berserker. they do take half though and with Jeanne's crazy high HP it means she's pretty OP right now. eventually she falls off a bit but remains even today one of the best tanks.

So Rulers are superior to Shielders since that seems to be way better than what a Shielder gets.

Granted, I have degree in psychology, so I already expect it, but the bullying doesn't really bother me much either given the situation these people willingly put themselves in. Alphas and sheep, challenging authority, psychological warfare, it's all human nature to the extreme in the Big Brother House, especially after a month of sequestering and being around the same people and being forced to interact with them in some manner on a daily basis. As I mentioned earlier, I just have issues with people who slander racially or sexually, because those show deeper rooted feelings they truly believe in even if they normally keep them in check in their regular lives.

These attitudes are likely starting to come from being secluded over a month now. I don't think a single day of people losing there morale grip is enough to downgrade anyone just yet. Big Brother always has been a psychological experiment, and everyone in the house is bound to act like a total idiot away from their normal selves on multiple occasions.

The things that trigger me is when racial and sexual slander begins, because those remarks tend to actually show deep rooted beliefs of those individuals, even if they keep them in check in reality.

Now that that's died down a bit I don't mind. The combat is fun-- trying to optimize killing the weak mobs is even fun for me.

Yeah, if I am just burning through stamina, it's not a big deal. A couple 30 Stamina missions and I feel like I got enough done.

I play FFBE about 50% of my phone day, and FEH about 30% of my phone day. FGO starts to feel grindy when I cant burn through the stamina at all, so I just leave it.

Going against me is Gilgamesh from Grand Order and Zargabaath from Exvius both falling into my lap recently. I'm a firm believer in luck rationing.

Yeah, I have a Waver and Heracles FGO account and haven't pulled anything good since. Here I got Orlandeau and Fryevia within a week of each other and nothing all that impressive since except a Rikku I had to burn about 40 tickets for. If I remain unlucky long enough, I might score both 2B and A2 ;).

It was my first try doing the trial and didn't know what to expect, and I definitely wasn't expecting it to be as easy as it was. Tidus wasn't really as big of a damage dealer as my Orlandeau or Elza was, and I didn't have a real healer, so better safe than sorry too I guess.

Nothing wrong with a little redundancy.

Man, Famfrit battle was stupid easy, I felt like I cheated.

I used Elza, Orlandeau, Rikku, Xon, and friend Tidus.
One turned Cid on Battle one.
Took 3 turns to take Cid down on Battle two, but Twist of Fate made it a joke. After Cid died, I double Lanced and Osmosed Famfrit for two turns and just chained him down after that. I didn't get the 10k Motes but I couldn't care less about trying to use Waterga or getting the Motes.

So I did start this game back when it launched, but I am going about it super casually since the battle mechanics aren't quite as engaging to me. I also play ffbe (my main app) and feh (my second most played app), so this gets daily logins and then a little love when I can spare it.

That said, I have Waver, Heracles, and Marie Antoinette for my servants, so I'm fairly lucky.

The problem I have with committing to Awakening abilities is that I just never seem to use any units outside my core stuff.

I have Awaken+2 Elza's Ravaging Blow, but nothing else. I have Ace, who I've considered possibly replacing ExDeath for some Chain Capping, but I don't really see it being worthwhile in the long run to awaken his abilities considering I only use ExDeath in Raids, and he's not even that necessary. Those 10 above haven't really ever felt like their positions in any of my teams have been compromised.

Plenty of abilities to awaken, just not seeing a reason to if I don't use the unit.

It doesnt take much powders to get the 2 main weapon rewards. You could probably be done with Macalania after two Elite runs, or a half dozen or so lower difficulty runs depending on how the butterflies treat you.

Rasler's Sentinel is 30% opposed to Cecil's 75%.

Chance to protect all allies (20%) with damage mitigation (30% physical, 30% magic) for 1 turn to caster in comparison with WoL's 50/50/50.

The only things he got over the others is better performance in terms of def/spr/atk, Esunaga+ Patriotic Slash.

I don't think you still understand. You can't call someone a "budget" anything if he's just as common as what you are comparing him to. You can only call things more common than your comparison as "budget" items.

Yeah, I think that those are about my rankings, though I do like Paul. He'd probably be a bit higher. Cody might be a bit lower, but he has such a deadpan playstyle it is absolutely hilarious to watch. His social game is pretty awful, though I don't have live feeds.

His cover and aoe cover are worse.

What I meant is that you are just as likely to pull him as you would WoL (except during rates up for either), so it's kind of hard to call him budget version. A budget version tank would be Cecil due to his 3* rarity making him easier to obtain.
