I actually noticed this when you did it the first time but at the time I thought you were trying to go for a witty statement regarding the color and art style of whatever you were talking about. But after using it again in Emma Frost's writeup, I gotta tell you that I think the word you're looking for is palate, as in, the sense of sophisticated taste or appreciation for something instead of palette, which is that thing painters use to dab colors with. Not sure if you're doing it on purpose. Anyways, I'm so bummed that Gideon's appearance in the finale is lackluster. I never read the final volume and I think I never will now. --- It's not so cliche anymore when it's happening to you. |

I'll gladly concede that Dust Man's theme is more appropriate for the character than Drill Man's theme is for him, but I'd still rather listen to Drill Man's song. Fair enough. It does have its catchy side, though themeless I can see how you'd appreciate its loops --- It's not so cliche anymore when it's happening to you. |

I feel like Galaxy Man, with his level set in a "space station" and level ost sounding like something out of a 90s eurodance video, appears to be a retro-upgraded reboot for MM8's Astro Man. He's also a space-themed robot with the same head who looks hilariously 80s compared to its counterparts. Even their fighting style is similar: Troll you from the sky then do that one move where it needs to get lower. --- It's not so cliche anymore when it's happening to you. |

I'm intrigued, and I'm hoping my 2 favorite tracks (the 2 Cossack Levels) get marginally higher. To this day, I can still whistle them from memory and I could care less for their respective levels (they were pretty difficult). Sometimes I feel like most classic Megaman fans want to hold 2 and 3 in some sort of untouchable pedestal while the rest just sold out and got 'easier'. Well. I really wish I can see it that way, but 4 was the game I grew up on and it may be an unpopular opinion but I can't ever imagine an MM game that doesn't let you charge your shot. --- It's not so cliche anymore when it's happening to you. |

| Simoun 06/02/17 8:56:13 PM #133 | Riviera was amazing. It took risks and I've not seen anything else like it. Anyways, my game is Rakugaki Showtime on the PS1. If anyone's played the less obscure Poy Poy 2, it's basically that game, except instead of running around and throwing stuff with realistic physics you're doing it in a far flashier anime version. Oh and every character is a literal hand-drawn scribble (that's what Rakugaki means: Graffiti), so its like it gives this Children's Drawing Fantasy aesthetic where all these cool and crazy characters are fighting each other. There's even a Master Hand in this game that draws the characters. And a Cloud lookalike. Another often forgotten game is Sands of Destruction on the NDS. It is often overlooked by Radiant Historia, the *real* hidden gem of the handheld. Of course, SoD is not without its flaws such as its completely defective battle system and terrible pacing. But it's more of a game you play for the story. From the moment the story starts after the obligatory first dungeon, the game is already trying to be In Your Face by --- It's not so cliche anymore when it's happening to you. |

The game itself often overshadowed by its 2 big brothers, so I'm glad there's at least some love here. Sad to see Dustman go out early though. I feel that tune is really thematic of the level as it has a certain Industry to it without making it sound like a stereotypical factory song. --- It's not so cliche anymore when it's happening to you. |
