From DD season 2, doesn't it have to be set afterward. Otherwise, the whole backstory is just him starting on the path of unraveling the case that's closed in the closing chapters of Daredevil. By comparison, post-DD season 2, we're basically free to do whatever we want with the character.

I wouldn't be cool with that outcome for Gao, because she's clearly not human and she needs to be taken down by someone who can fight at her level or a strategy carefully constructed to defeat someone vastly more powerful than you. As one of the founding leaders of the hand, she's killed more than one holder of the Iron Fist mantle, and those soldiers are trained specifically to defeat people like her.The idea of her taken taken out by non-magical mundane weapons and her mysteriously being unable to regenerate from those injuries is unsatisfying for me. Also, since when does Frank Castle know anything about fighting supernatural baddies?

EDIT: The only way this is cool is if Frank suddenly develops a since of self awareness and starts taking pages from Kiritsugu's mage assassination playbook. That's satisfying.

Apparently more artifacts and primary historical documents of the Han Dynasty survived the years than we in this topic believed.

There's apparently an in-depth detailed record of Ancient Chinese History that's more or less become the definitive historical record for Ancient China. It's the primary source from which the secondary source, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, was written. And, of course, Dynasty Warriors is derived from that story.

They're not. Hate speech and similar behaviors are aggravating factors for other violent crimes though and even can bump up a murder charge by a degree or two depending on what the prosecution thinks they can sell to the jury. Personally, I think that's fine.

Finally, threatening speech is not protected by the first amendment, and some hate speech definitely qualifies.

It was just a goofy side scroller platform. I actually played some of the later titles that never made it over. The production got a lot better as the franchise matured. Apparently it's not seen another release since 2005, though.

Just so we're clear, Politifact posted a list of exaggerations, and general untruths from the Trump campaign that was published prior to Fall 2016. That is the 'list' I referred to. And if you payed closer attention to my word choice, 'potential voters,' you would realize the we're referring to things that happened before the election.

We can use your smoke and fire metaphor, with individual instances being the smoke, and the broader picture of general unreliability and lack of credibility from the WH being the fire.

I don't know what Russia has to do with the President's damaged credibility or the Access Hollywood tape, besides demonstrating that he seems immune to bad press, but that's not what's being discussed here.

I can agree that they're not getting what they want, but I still don't see how that equates to as you described not earning what they're worth. They're worth whatever the highest income they can get from a company. That's it. They don't set the market. Their families, their debts, and their personal feelings count exactly zero towards that. Perhaps. That's fair. I think you're using a more rigid and more clearly defined idea of worth than I am where you equate it to actual money value. I'm looking at it from the perspective someone weighing a demanding yet underpaying professional career, against comparably paid underemployment or something else entirely, and in that calculus money is only part of the equation.

Questions of fairness come into play when you look at patterns of wage depression and employee advocacy and realize the power imbalance between wage earners and their employees. That needs to be rectified, and voluntarily offering to lower ones wages in the hope that your bosses will do the same not only has no basis in reality, but is pretty backwards moving.

How do they know they're being short changed? If the market moves, their value moves. Why is their willingness to accept a job at a certain income worth more weight than what a company's willing to pay?

Because they're not working for the vague idea of the economy, they're working for themselves and for their families. They know what they paid for their schooling, what those jobs paid, what kind of work they'll be doing. They can look at all of that, and look at the historical wages, look at their own financial needs and outstanding education debts, what it costs to live near these businesses, and calculate from all that what they need, and what competitive rates from their employment should be. They have enough information to bargain. And clearly they should, they should covert what power they have, because they've been losing it since the 70s.

Businesses should bargain as well, but they don't get to feel entitled when people aren't willing to take a predatory deal. And being the ones with more power, businesses are in a far better position to give a little and extend the olive branch.

This is so disingenuous. How can you ask this of employees and not top level company executives, whose salaries dwarf their lower level support and blue collar staff by several powers of ten?

EDIT: And in the wake of decades of wage depression. This person is so fixated on simply filling seats, but doesn't understand that decreasing wages are more responsible for the anemic middle class spending than finding employment. And their suggestion is to further decrease those wages?

Even if it is an editorial, why is this getting published as it is? Surely the editor can see the issues and anticipate the gut reaction. If there's some hidden merit here, wouldn't you start by addressing the obvious problems and then getting people to look at potential benefits? But they're not even handwaving it. No one is born a fascist. It's a collection of beliefs and behaviors we learn. That said, many of these white nationalist groups have put great amounts of effort into 'redpilling', or packaging their messages in ways that appear innocuous, reserving the more controversial points of their ideology until a relationship of trust has been established.

As a result, fascism is not a particularly hard thing to learn today, especially when it comes as a package deal with a sense of community, reassurance of ones place in the world, and all of the side benefits that make religion so comfortable to people.
