Hard to post proof due to it coming in an email, I did a search online figuring it would be advertised but it doesn't show up.

Easiest way is to just type it out:

Priced like it's 1979. Solar Eclipse.

Classic Roast Beef Sandwiches for only $1.19. Monday August 21st, 2017.

Offer valid for a Classic Roast Beef Sandwich for $1.19 each. Ask for the solar eclipse deal to receive this price point. Limit 5 roast beef classic sandwiches per customer. Valid only August 21st 2017. Valid at participating locations only. Offer not valid with any other coupons.

So yeah, good idea to call and make sure your Arby's is participating, but I'm thinking most are.

Some of you like Arby's, some of you love Arby's and some of you are wrong.

No matter who you are though, tomorrow they will be selling their classic roast beef sandwiches for $1.19 in celebration of the eclipse.

Now, this isn't as amazing as it sounds as you can pretty much always get 3 for $5 (or $5.77), but it's still cheaper then normal even with that deal.

You can only get 5 per order, but nothing says you can't go back if you want, or bring a friend etc.

I'll buy 5 and make 2 sandwiches out of them. I do that with the 3 for 5 usually, but it'll be MONDO amounts of roast beef tomorrow for about the same price hehe.

Btw, it's 3 ounces per reg sammy, and it's normally $1 per extra ounce on any sandwich, so even normally it just makes sense to buy 2 and make it into 1.

Tomorrow though, you basically can get 3 ounces (pluss a bun) for $1.19, or about 40 cents per ounce.

Personally love their roast beef, and 40 cents an ounce is about $7 a pound, which is quite cheap compared to buying roast beef at the store (and personally I like theirs better).

So happy Arby's day tomorrow everyone (and if you hate Arby's......you have no soul!!).

So many new builds to play as well.

Might be my last hurrah, but I'm gonna go down with a bang if I can.

And yeah, I was just going to split the costs (not including the mortgage) with someone, which would have meant me spending (with the mortgage) about $1700 a month.

This way, even if one of them flakes (and they have lived together for years with no problems), it would only be 1/4th of the cost that I would lose out on and have to pay.

Basically 1 flake would still be less total cost then if I just rented to one person and split everything.

Each is going to contribute 500$ a month along with 1/4th of the utilities.

That drops my 2300$ (including mortgage) + 1/2 utitlities, down to me only paying $800 a month and 1/4th utilities (which will be around $400 a month or so).

Since I only want to sub teach for the near future at least, and the salary for that can be pathetic, it's really a great setup. I can make $1k a month standing on my head and never leaving my house if I wanted (I'm sure i'd get a headache if I only did it while standing on my head though).

Btw, I wrote up a roomate contract and called it The Sheldon Agreement hehe. I did put (just kidding) in front of it though.

And yeah, I'm almost 50, i'm not dead yet, but the last 7 years aged me a ton, mentally and physically. I might be able to come back from it, and I've been working on it, but it's not going to be a fast recovery. Also every family member (my mother/grandmother/brother etc) have all died before 50 (of a heart attack) and I take enough pills for 2 elephants to keep mine down. My days are probably numbered, so I want to enjoy the ones I have left as much as possible.

Will these guys end up being my friends? No clue, but they are friends already, they play MtG and board games etc, love video games (one has a large CRTV and has light gun games...but hasn't played Elemental Gearbolt...the best one...yet). Another loves table tennis and works in a shop that can build things (says he can build a table no problem).

Also, I am.....the god of mediation......basically best roomate ever kinda guy. I get along with everyone pretty much and help resolve conflicts peacefully between others (I'm also quite large and trained in martial arts so I can prevent people from hurting each other/me without having to hurt them....you would be amazed how important that can be with roomates (or at least was 20 years ago).

So yeah, no clue if we will be great friends, but they are all responsible, have lived together with each other for awhile so are used to having roomates, they are not super young (late 20's early 30's probably but you can't always tell anymore, they could be older). Good roomate choices with the added perk of being radioactive resistant...oh wait...I mean gamers yeah:)

Nah, it can, and has, really work.

In my early 20's we would all hang out, pretty much every weekend. Half of us would just crash on the floor at each others house etc. We were in our early 20's we didn't care. Ended up all renting a place together and it was a blast. Had a base for everyone to hang out at (had a core of 8 of us, but extended friends of almost 50), on the weekends.

Ended badly with one of my friends shooting the others cat with a bb gun though, but until then it really worked well.

Hmm, I have a cat....I better make sure non of my potential roomates have a bb gun now that I think about it.

So, I have a bunch of people I was considering having move into my house, but I have recently been contacted by one guy who needed to move out of his current house by the 25th of this month.

He is a gamer, that also plays MtG (haven't played in years but I could start again) and, what is more he had 3 roomates who also have to move out. They are also gamers and friends etc.

That is exactly what I had set up eons ago before I got married, and really what I was hoping to find.

Only 3 would be moving in here (Since there are only 3 more bedrooms), but that would split the $2300 a month 4 ways (and utilities 4 ways as well), drastically reducing my costs. I'm planning on just sub teaching this next year, but was going to have to start full time teaching after that, or do some other kind of work, but with such a split, I could just sub teach for the rest of my life if I wanted.

Still have not met them, but they are my type of people (like video games, super hero shows etc...nerds/geeks whatever you want to call us). They are the first ones I have actually had respond either time...and what I would really like. Having a group of friends live here who enjoy watching Game of Thrones, Daredevil etc, and also like playing video games? Freaking perfect.

I may not even have anyone else move in if they don't work out, until I have given it enough time to ensure I can't actually get something like that set up.

Can't believe I might start playing MtG again though, I really burned out on that a few years after it started and gave away all my cards to a friend (over $2000 worth).

I had a dream, when I was young (in my 20's) of starting a gamer's commune, where tons of gamers could come live, have a huge lan etc to play Doom etc together. My house isn't big enough for that, but....it could certainly be something like it.

So wish me luck PoTD, things are going pretty good over all, but if I can get something like that set up, I will be really happy.

The only thing that annoys me in that guys review video was that he called Arya's Needle "a very strange sword that probably wouldn't have been around in that period". I don't think he knows that the sword was made specifically for her by a talented blacksmith. There were never any women, especially tiny women like her, that would fight with a sword so of course it wouldn't be seen. Many characters even comment on it throughout the series.

But he acts like it's a flaw in the series, that the writers were too stupid to know this sword didn't belong in this era. That's not the case at all

He was also saying that you won't do any cutting damage with a sword like that, so he didn't understand why Arya kept striking Brienne, and I'm just sitting here thinking," They aren't trying to hurt each other." I mean, it would be a good point in any other fight scene with that sword, but in this one, not so much.

First, while what he says is true, you COULD make a sword that cut of that type, it was just not something that was done (for a variety of reasons), but could be done just for Arya. The sword was made for her, so it could be special.

Second, even if you can't cut, striking with it would still cause damage, more then striking with a bamboo reed would do, and you can do serious damage with one. hits the joints, or weak spots (like the throat for instance), could still seriously harm someone, or slow them down enough for you to stab them.

Finally, third, and most importantly, they were sparing, so it doesn't matter if the sword can cut, the point is to score a hit, which Arya already had done before they finally tied at the end multiple times. If Arya was using a real short sword (with an edge) the cut to the leg at least would have been serious and probably she would have cut off Briennes hand as well. All of that I believe happened before she was kicked/knocked down, so in a real fight Arya would have won before even getting that far.

I also loved her response to "Who taught you to do that"........it was perfect:)

Arya is certainly my favorite character of the series at this point. I just hope she doesn't actually end up with littlefinger.

This episode made me think I might be wrong about Arya kililng littlefinger......could (And btw ick) there be a littlefinger/arya romance in the future?

I thought the fight was fine, it was a draw btw, both of them would have killed each other, so Arya didn't really win. In addition, if your not actually trying to kill someone with a big heavy blade, you are at a serious disadvantage when sparing. You can totally "ALMOST" kill someone with a light fast blade, but try doing that with a huge hunk of metal.

Didn't like the Bran parts much tbh, and yeah, no way Jamie is going down *literally* like that, but over all good episode.

John snow still seems to know nothing. Grow some balls dude, seriously. You died and came back, have the same blood as Danny, and you have your own freaking army as well, negotiate from a position of strength/power. Danny needs you more then you need her, she just doesn't know it, so SHOW her that it's true.

She wants to Rule, you just want to save what she wants to rule. She should be bending the knee to you and thanking you, not demanding you swear fealty to her.

Oh well whatever. I'm liking Danny less and less. Still like Arya alot and John just knows nothing, but is still cool.

Anything new/decent in the update?

I have not played since it launched, I know they released a semi-big update that added bases or something, like 6 months ago or something, but have not actually given it another try yet.

Initially it crashed/corrupted my save after warping for the 3rd time, and I just didn't feel like redoing everything again. Shelved it and planned on getting back to it some year.

Some year was literally correct I guess (if I ever do get back to it).

Having worked as a nanny/manny for awhile, and seeing so many kids addicted to ipads/video games etc now, I would at least caution parents to limit the amount of time they spend playing them. It's kinda getting scary how focused some kids can get on playing video games etc now. When I was young, it was still something kids could do all day, but you had to be at home with a game system (or a friends house etc) and most where at least slightly limited in the amount of time they spent.

Now with phones/ipads and everyone having game systems, pcs etc......even the very young 4-6 year olds can spend almost every waking moment playing games, and get grumpy/unhappy if they don't. Forget about getting your kids to go out to a park and play etc, they just want to play roblox for 18 hours, or minecraft etc etc.

I love video games, they have always been a great part of my life, but I think we may be creating video game addicts by allowing the youngest children to spend so much time playing them. Hate even saying that, since I would have fought against anyone restricting how much I played video games (and at one point I averaged 14 1/2 hours a day for a year), but I just see so many kids literally playing their games at the dinner table while eating and hardly even talking to real people anymore.

People in most 3rd world countries lived better then me till I was about 10-11 (and started working myself). We lived on school lunches till then, in projects, usually being the only white people as well.

Once I started being able to make my own money, I ate just fine, but still had no clothes etc, never took showers, brushed my teeth or any of that stuff most kids do I guess. Finally started to make friends and do that kinda stuff in middle school though (and discovered sports....god I loved sports back then). Joined an organization called Young Life (previous to that worked through the summers at Camp Mendicino through Boys Clubs), and actually started to have a real life, clothes, friends, video games etc.

Graduated early on my 16th birthday and joined the military on my 17th (guaranteed job and station based on my high test scores). Got out at 19 due to the gulf war ended and my position no longer being available (due to it being guaranteed I was given the option to leave or switch to a different job). Saved pretty much everything i made in the military, invested it in EE bonds (they had insane interest at that point) and continued to invest half of everything I made in them for the next 10 years or so.

Never was poor again.

But yeah, there where parents that would have kids for extra money, and sell them etc, but other then that, not many kids grew up with less then me and my brother, at least till he got put into the system (at 9), when I was 11 (and working by then).

I was seriously jelous of him living in a group home though, they got $200 a year for clothes, and went out to eat at KFC etc...it seemed like heaven to me. I was so used to taking care of myself though, that I didn't want to give up control and go into the system as well.

Probably not the smartest choice, but it did give me WAY more freedom then most kids (I was totally in charge of my own life). That let me transfer out of the public school system to a private school system (worked as a janitor there to pay for it) and finish 4 years of school in 1 year.

Considering I started school 1 year late (we moved constantly back then), and I just didn't go to school for all of 4th grade (Didn't see a point to it, but they let me move forward anyway since I tested 12th+ already), I actually only spent 7 years in the public school system. I usually just read sci-fi/fantasy books in class the whole time anyway.

I dont like the many random people bit. Dressing up or down and taking care of masters guests is one thing, but being turned like some common tramp is another.

I would definitly consiser it though. Any possibility of ot being full time?

Actually question kind of reminds me of a story I read. A guy answers an ad to be a sex slave for one year and he takes it, but through the year they condition him to need her corsets or he would be in horrible pain. If he left early he would be finacially ruined for the rest of his life. When the one year mark arrived he decided to end the relationship, but there was a catch in the lending contract, both parties would have to agree that they dont want to continue. The master did not and the story ends with him being kept in a basement being tortured for the rest of his life.

That does not sound like a fun story.

Yeah, it could be permanent in either direction I would guess. You could become a slave, or as part of the group and having finished the full week, you have the opportunity to now be a master and use future slaves (it's basically the initiation).

Quite possibly could set it up that once your a member you can choose which you want to be at will, based on what you wear (red for masters, blue for slaves) or something like that.

Kinda be freaky if there was like a patch you could wear on your shirt that showed you where a part of the club, and we started seeing people with red and blue patches everywhere lol.

I could not be a long term submissive, and I'm not into slave things (either way, master or sub) really, but i'd be down with the whole week thing as long as I could set rules etc, and stop it if I didn't like it.

I think a hard no turture or extreme pain rule would have to be in effect for the initiation week at least, afterwards people could communicate and determine what they like want individually, but there would be limits for the first week.

I saw this and was not sad. I don't think she's good enough for him. I have no freaking clue what caused the breakup (don't care enough to find out, maybe he was even a jerk...but I doubt it), but I like Chris Pratt, and never really liked Anna ferris. I watched that show "MoM" with my wife but only cause she liked it.

Meanwhile Chris was awesome in P&RR, and of course totally rocks it in the guardians of the galaxy movies. Also seems to be a genius nice guy in real life.

Anna may be a saint, but I find her vaguely annoying for some reason, not probably her fault, but doesn't change how I feel.

I was really ad about the whole Jen & Ben breakup though, I think Garner is a cutie, but I like Ben as well.

Oh well, love does exist, just not in hollywood.

Good salami is hard to find. Even harder then good Moz to be honest. I know a few places that have it, but the best salami is not sold directly to customers and is sold out of Seattle. I found it while eating at the hospital cafe, since that is where they get their meats. I asked them about it, and finally tracked down the store, but other then ordering through the hospital (They where willing, I'm charming in real life), which is kinda out of my way and inconvenient, I couldn't end up getting it here.

Second rate salami for me:(

I tried in the past just moving it and it wouldn't work, they tried doing a reset and then said it needed someone to actually come out (which they charge for). I got it all set up that way (by actually signing up for the protection plan thingy for 3 months ($5 a month) and then canceling...instead of paying $40 or something like that.

This time, the living room is right in front of the bedroom and the two cables both come up right between them, so I just switched them around (living to bedroom and vice versa) and it works fine). I did not try just plugging it in to the bedroom since that didn't work before, but who knows maybe it would.

It is their own modem btw, which they at least seam to need to program for it to work (as it didn't work either time I have set it up till they did something on their end).

I circumvented that by using the exact same cable it was set up for, just changing where it came out.

Maybe I could have avoided that step, but whatever, it's done now....and no need to deal with them.

Been wanting to move where my wifi/network/router was for awhile, but in the past evil Comcast always said "You need to have a customer service agent come to your house and change the port", or something like that.

Being a gullible idiot, I believed them.

Anyway, I decided to just do the work myself today, changed the hard lines around from one location to another so it was the same wires (not really that hard) and BAM, I now have the modem set up in my room instead of my living room.

Advantage there is there is a short range much faster line, that barely reached into my room so would drop out sometimes (very annoying), or I have a longer range that literally makes it to my neighbors house down the block (bottom of a big hill!). I found out during an HoA meeting when my ipad that I had brought with me was still connected lol.

This way I have the high speed and no need to have the long cord going all the way around my living room to my bedroom (and it means I can set up the TV in the living room as well easily). So much better. Should have bucked the system and done it myself along time ago.

So, moral of this story is, don't listen to the MAN!!! Down with the establishment!! Rise up, rise up and seize the day. Praise the sun.

Wolfy out.

Drops mic.

I think I have had them at sushi houses before (it's not green tea, or the normal teas at chineese place, only very rarely at sushi houses...and I don't like sushi so would only go with my wife rarely).

It's one of the only teas I like without any sugar (let alone milk!).

It has a very earthy/woody flavor, and is quite yummy with nothing added at all.

I really should try and track it down, or should have even asked what it was (I probably did and have since forgot as it's been years).

All the sugar I put in my tea is probably not good for me, but I like about 2 teaspoons of sugar and about a tea to milk ratio of 8:1 (mostly tea, but it's nice and creamy/white).

I do like a strong base tea, or else the sugar/milk over powers it. That is why I like consistency so much, you always get just the right mixture.

I do the same thing when I cook, I experiment over time until I find exactly what I like, and then make it pretty much exactly the same way after that.

I also eat everything individually. Mushrooms, then steak, then potatoes, then brocolli etc.

I am a strange person, but it works for me.

Lifestyles 200 pack (Get extra large if you can, doesn't matter what size, it's easier to get on), was $20 before. I don't see them on there now, just 100 pack for $17.

I think the 200 pack was on sale when I got it.

Unless your an energizer bunny or something, that would last you awhile for under $20, even at only 100 of them.

No I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to do it for some side hustle tho. He's not real receptive.

Tops are usually more in demand anyway, he doesn't need to be receptive.
