That was the next call. First, warn other businesses though. By the time we saw the security footage, he was probably 10 miles away and our footage didn't show his license plate.

It seems like this guy knew what he was doing, but I worry about that a little. There has to be a fair number of cases where someone has a counterfeit bill, but isn't aware that it's counterfeit.

I don't know what's worse for this man. Getting the cops called on him for having a counterfeit bill or getting the cops called on him for having a counterfeit bill without him knowing it's fake. :/

Also, this makes you want to check the authenticity of your bills! DX

Discipline, but like...how? I guess the moral is just do it, eh? One person gave me a piece of advice many years ago about important things and he said "There's no special secret. Ya just do it." Thank you for taking the time to read and respond so far

Pretty much.

Just do it!!

It also helps to have little and tiny goals; kinda like checkpoints towards your bigger goals to make sure you're on track.

Also, people tend to become demotivated when they don't see monumental results in their efforts. But that's false you see. You must celebrate each achievement; no matter how miniscule or seemingly insignificant. Every victory is well-fought for. And you'll see your progress! And that will motivate you to further continue your endeavour.

It came out of Trump's mouth but I don't think that makes it wrong.

There's also more to this than we know. What quality of life would the kid have a chance to recover to from the experimental procedure? Maybe the right call was made, maybe it was not. Maybe he would have been a lock-in.

That's the whole point.

This poses an ethical and moral question.

And what exactly is the definition of ethics and morals? To you? To me? To his parents? To everyone else from the outside looking in?

The only thing people can do is move forward. Bear every consequence that will come along the way. That's it. These things aren't meant to be answered with absolute finality or correctness by any of us; simply because we will not bear that burden of facing its repurcussions. We can discuss this all day and not find an answer..

It's merely food for thought.

And after a few years of it, I eventually visited less and less and before I knew it, years have passed. Old friends have left and moved on.

But still, I'm glad the board I frequented is still alive and kicking.

Hehe...although I don't really care much for titles, I suppose it's my loss for being away for so long. Oh well.

I'm a big advocate for each top their own but even so, we shouldn't promote mental illness.

Being transgender is a result from suffering from gender dysphoria. It's a mental disorder.

So, if the media focus is to CREATE AWARENESS towards the treatment of said disorder, then yes, they should have more media coverage.

This phenomenon is a disorder. Not a fad; not a craze. It's not fashion and it's not glamour. People who are suffering with this are SUFFERING with this.

Hence, it should not be trivialised or indulged.

It should be treated.

If what you say is true, the whole situation is best described in one word: ridiculous.

And what I mean is that your roommates are ridiculous and so are their reasons for wanting to evict you. Their sense of reasoning is ridiculous. Their intolerance is ridiculous. Their rabid nature when they make you feel as though you've betrayed them and their "just cause" in the highest degree is ridiculous.

And lastly, their inability to respect you as a human being with choices is ridiculous.

Be considerate of other drivers. Get to know who's in the right of way for each circumstance.

In my experience, and from what I saw of others, accidents often happen because people just care for themselves; they have the "Me first!" attitude. And although I understand that yes, we always prefer to go first, there are circumstances wherein it's better to give way.

Also, don't give in to that feeling of being offended on the road. When people choose to be rude and cut you off, it's not worth fighting over. Some drivers I see retaliate by tailgating, flashing headlights and making really sharp turns and swerves in an attempt to intimidate. It's not worth it.

No. I don't really think about it that much.

Whatever will happen will happen regardless of how much I think about it. Everyone has his or her place in this world. And we can die anytime, at any place.

I know, understand and accept that death is a necessary part of life. Without death, life will have no meaning. So, right now, at this moment, I'm so happy I'm alive. And while I'm not looking forward to dying, I live my life one day at a time.
