Just what are you trying to accomplish? Do you want to make GameFAQs pedophile free? Or do you want to keep kids safe?

If it's the latter, than it's worth having a discussion over what's "too far" for a pedophile. Obviously looking at real life child porn is a problem because someone has to produce it, but does say loli hentai give them a sense of satisfaction that they don't need to pry any further? Do the sex dolls really prevent potential attacks?

Sweeping pedophilia under the rug doesn't make them not exist. I remember there was a huge discussion where a psychologist who focused on sex offenders suggested that we expanded the gender orientations to include pedophilia. There was a good deal of outcry toward it. But my thought was that this is to help offenders from repeating and deter potential offenders which results in a safer community, safer for kids.

Yes, I was aware of that. But do you honestly think they won't let him out eventually? Please keep in mind that we are talking about Norway here, not North Korea, not Turkey, not... well, you know what I'm saying. If there was one place on Earth where I would consider commiting a crime and not be afraid of incarceration, it's Norway.

The articles I've read gave the impression that he felt he was in the right to do what he did. As in he's a terrorist with a noble purpose. I doubt he'll change his mindset, that's why I feel he's going to stay in.

They can add on more years, if they deem him to still be a threat, but hypothetically Breivik could be released when he's in his early 50's. This guy is one of them.

You can't pick and choose who you want to rehabilitate. That defeats the purpose if you're not going to commit to rehabilitating prisoners entirely. It's like being a defense lawyer who only defends those with sympathetic stories when the system requires the defense of even sociopaths for it to work.

And it's not a guarantee that a person going through a rehabilitation program will get out, the mass shooter in Norway is probably not going to obtain freedom. So let the system decide.

Seeing as I don't live on the Continental US, I'd like to take the time to live the simple pleasures of life. I'll probably get myself some Starbucks, some Krispy Kreme donuts, checkout the hubbub over the Inside Out Burger shacks? Probably go to a Cold Stone Creamery or Haagen Daaz ice cream parlor. Oh, and in NYC, there's some Mediterranean restaurants I haven't been to in years, as well as this one pastry with DELICIOUS sweets. I have to go back there.

I have no interest in watching them "gauge" whether or not the market is fit for a Battle Network. Just give it to us damnit. Then you can do Battle Collection or whatever. I don't really care.

Which would you want a BN7 on? The 3DS was pretty much built for a Battle Network game from the ground up, but the Switch is newer in tech and you can... Jack into the Dock.

I'll miss the Street Pass, but the Switch gets my vote.

That's not how that works. Depth of mechanics isn't an entry barrier. Smash won't become indecephirable just because you can do a standing slide.

But that is how it works. Else Sakurai would have gone back to the Melee mechanics for Smash 4 instead of putting it smack dab in the middle of Brawl and Melee in terms of gameplay speed.

Wavedashing is an entire movement option and adds a TON of depth to the game. It's so important that if you can't wavedash, you can't play competitive Melee. Just make it an official aspect of the game and balance characters to it. It doesn't still have to be done by dodging into the ground.

It adds a ton of depth, but it also creates another barrier to entry for casuals to enjoy top level play. Remember, Smash Bros is an entry level fighting game, there's a limit to how much you can raise the skill ceiling until you pass a threshold where people look at the top competitors and think to themselves "I can't ever reach that level so why bother".

Melee flew past that threshold and was criticized for this, hence the reason why Sakurai went way over the top in casualizing Brawl.

Nintendo really needs to make the next Smash game similar to Melee. Put everyone under one roof.

That contradicts the point of Smash though. Melee's competitive play puts off the layman and gives them the idea that they'll never be able to play like that and they'll think "why bother?". That's why S4's skill cap isn't as high as Melee's.

I'm all for momentum conserving jumps though.

The communities are pretty separate but there are solid spikes of support between the communities. A lot of Melee players tuned into Sm4sh's biggest ever event (Civil War) so I think when the two communities disregard the fanaticism and stick together for a day, it works out well. Removing one game would cause a s***storm.

Rousey is still an Olympic Judo Gold medalist and trained in MMA as a career. I highly doubt anyone on this board can take her on. You still have to train to take a hit and keep fighting, to learn how to take a hit, to build up your reaction speed, and muscle training and cardio training doesn't give you those skills. You also need grappling skills to defend against her off the ground, and above all you need experience fighting to learn to read your opponent to be comfortable on the ground or after spending 2 minutes in the ring.

Only when you have basic fighting tools will your weight and height advantage could play a marginal factor, not when you have 0 hours of fight training compared to someone who spends 6 days a week training. As it stands, she'll either run up and smack you in your face, bust your lip as you'll most likely unknowingly have your mouth open if you're not a fighter, and will send a shock to your system, draining you of your will to fight or she'll put you in an arm bar and call it an afternoon.

Here's the problem Kineth, you're approaching it as a logical, intelligent adult. Most people are, by and large, idiots. The amount of people who are vegan and raise a child to be so while consulting a nutritionist, pediatrician, and ensuring the child gets it's necessary proteins and nutrients elsewhere are VASTLY outnumbered by the people who are vegan because it's the 'in thing' and try to feed the kid nothing but vegetables.

Honestly, it's kind of sad that we have to worry about people starving their babies to death, but that's the state of the world.

Then veganism isn't the issue, it's that people aren't putting in the research to develop a well rounded baby diet to their vegan specifications. This is a night and day difference from flat out saying veganism kills babies and that's disingenuous.

Checked out the video. The cop flipped his sticks and panicked the moment he was told Castille was armed. That's definitely manslaughter right there. But I can sort of understand why he was acquitted, he was placed in a position of power, had no intention of coming in to down the guy but didn't know how to handle the situation when the gun was brought into light. I don't think prison is the right punishment (as I believe prison should be for rehabilitation and not punishment) but there should be consequences for failing to handle the situation and ending it disastrously and fatally. Being fired should have been the prerequisite for his punishment.

This happened to me once. Granted, the sun started setting as I left, I didn't realize I didn't have my lights on after a car passed me without his lights on and I complained myself about it.

TC, I used to be horribly forgetful of my things. But to remember, anytime I left the house, I recited the line "Phone, watch, keys, wallet, pick" and felt my pockets for each item (I did have a pocket watch at one point in time but this came before I had one). You should consider at least doing that after you leave the house and car.

If you want to know the canon classes for the villagers you recruit at the start of the game,

Faye -> Cleric
Kliff -> Mage
Tobin -> Archer
Gray -> Mercenary

Those are the canon classes. And the game hints at this so I'll cover them up in case you want to figure it out for yourself. I hear people mix things up with Kliff and Tobin, as Kliff has great growths in everything and Tobin gets good spells early.

Also, you'll get a Cleric named Silque early in the game. At level 18, she gets Invoke, where she can summon illusion units to fight for you. Other clerics get the ability too, but hers summons Dread Fighters, the best class in the game. She can feasibly run an army by herself.

Also, there's a really powerful shield you can get early in the game in Chapter's 1's boss, the Draco shield. You won't get a chance to get another one till way late in the game if the boss runs away and he bails out if his pal dies. So make sure to get it. I made the mistake of not going for it and if I had it, I would have had Silque right at the front of the army. While still spamming Invoke.
