Possibly. It also sounds like he's banking on the video having footage of her coming onto him and reciprocating in the beginning. But the camera catches the crew members having to carrying her off to her room, how is he going to defend that? He's alright. I do take a liking to the one move where he blasts into the sky to slam back down on you.

Nargacuga is still the best Flagship. He embodies Monhun. He has a moveset that's grounded to reality (within reason) but just screams SAVAGERY and his theme has the right mix of seriousness and lighthearted charm of Monster Hunter.

The survey was conducted by the Innovation Center of US Dairy in April. 1,000 adults 18 and over were asked questions about the role milk plays in their daily lives, Food & Wine reported.

For an article reporting on American ignorance, they sure love leaps in logic. I'm trying to understand how they extrapolated a survey of ~1000 participants and made an analogy to 16+ million people and think it makes sense.

See, a flat tax rate would work only if the the cost of living was also priced accordingly to your income. If you're making $35K a year, owing $9K in taxes (~25%) hurts a hell of a lot more than owing $250K on a $1 million salary. Man, there were a number of videos of Ike Speedruns and Ike only runs in Radiant Dawn. There was a video where he singledhandedly defended a fort from being seized. It was beautiful.

And to add what everyone else said, he also has a good personality and was a really likable character. You'll come to respect him as a bonafide leader in PoR and the gameplay reflects how powerful and well regarded he is in Radiant Dawn.

The gameplay speed is no different from regular Monhun, There's no good reason to change the eating and potion drink animations other than to westernize it. And the flagship monster is lame but the interactions are pretty cool (the fact that they're focusing on it now, I mean). I want to see the battle between Mizutsune and Zinogre play out now.

besides there's so many plot holes when it comes to titans attacking anyway. I just don't think it's written well.

Dude, if you read the manga, you'd know the author has had the basic outline for the entire story, and lore well defined FROM THE FIRST CHAPTER. You really don't know what you're talking about.

Back when I caught up I sped read tbh. I still liked it. Not the best manga ever, but it's really good. And it reads much more like a well written fantasy novel than your usual Shonen manga fair.

I said not to speed read so he could understand what's going on. A lot of people reading the manga barely understood what was going on because they blasted through the pages without fully understanding what was going on. And you're absolutely right, this is a pure fantasy manga, not a shonen.

I will admit the characters were the 2nd weakest part of the series (the manga artstyle is... really bad). But this past few manga chapters and episodes made me appreciate characters like Ymir and Reiner, they're much more interesting and intricate than meets the eye. Problem is that the main focus is on Mikasa, Eren, and Armin, who just aren't very compelling characters. But I will say that at this point in the manga, the characters have never been more colorful and I really enjoy seeing their interactions.

Heh, I remember when people made these same comments when Paper Mario Sticker Star and NSMB2, where the former was bashed for being too different in X ways and NSMB2 was bashed for being a rehash. Passerbys would then bash the fans for not knowing what they want. You're in the same boat as the passerbys, as in you're giving your opinion without understanding why the fans are criticizing their games.

Now there's nothing wrong with change. 4U was an enormous improvement from 3U with the introduction of ledges and speeding up climbing (this sounds simple but it doubled the gameplay speed). Generations/XX went even further (debatably too far) in the experimentation of the battle system with the styles and Hunter Arts. So anyone saying that Monster Hunter has grown stale is either lying through their teeth or isn't a fan of Monhun and wants it to be something it's not. And that's the issue here. World is making a lot of changes in attempt to cater to the West and is risking losing its identity as Monster Hunter in the process.

I think it's even worse than that, and I'm not at all familiar with the Dead Rising fiasco.

Here, they have a mainline title that's not even on a handheld. And the series became the juggernaut franchise it is now because of its local multiplayer in Japan. So basically World just disenfranchised the entire Japanese base that routinely gave them 3+ million sales per title (save for MHXX but it's a G rank game and the 5th 3DS MH game).

They're really betting big on it catching on in the West. With the amount of competition it has from the other open world games, hoo boy if it flops.
