Falcon. I held one once when I was a kid and we went to the bird sanctuary. They are pretty amazing birds. Out of all birds, though, I have a thing for crows and ravens. As funny as it sounds, they have always been a good omen for me.

A bird sanctuary sounds like an awesome concept.

I'm... honestly surprised so many people on this garbage pit ignored the topic. I in particular am surprised anyone wouldn't want to enter a topic that mentions Westworld, which was a pretty great show.

At any rate no, sexbots especially the ones on Westworld make no sense. How do they get the... um... texture, of the vagina for these women, right? And what about you know all the facets of sex like vaginal lubrication? These robots don't have pores or bodily fluids the way humans do, so I don't understand how sex with them is anything more than those fleshlight things.

Maybe season 2 will explain it, maybe not. I say doubtful.

You have to say that, you're a mod.

I consider people with a complete anti-piracy stance foolish. We shouldn't have to pay for media before we know if we're going to like it or not.

I don't agree with that rationale, this is more about inability to access something even if you want to pay for it without knowing beforehand if you're going to like it. Because this is a much bigger issue that needs to be tackled first.

Look at how huge that text is. On a tv screen I could read it from like 40 meters away.

Now let's look at a game from the quote unquote HD gen

TttUjwj

JFC. Just look at that. A huge screen, On a 60+ inch tv, and the text is literally squished and placed at the bottom. Barely readable from a meager 4 meter distance, since it's important to maintain a safe distance away from the tv instead of having your eyes glued to a screen just inches away.

All that space, and they couldn't have the text maybe match up with the widescreen display?

The Enemy Below, part 1

Orm lies to Atlantis about the surface killing Aquaman in order to rile up a war between the surface and Atlantis. Orm steals Plutonium and uses it as fuel for a melt-the-glaciers machine that would flood the planet. In fact, Orm hired Floyd Lawton/Deadshot to try to kill Aquaman. When he was captured by the Justice League, Deadshot refused to rat on Orm. Batman persuaded Deadshot to talk by telling him "I know where you live, Floyd." Deadshot then showed the Justice League his payment of Spanish doubloons. Only an Atlantis citizen could have paid Deadshot with a currency found in sunken ships. As for Orm himself, he fell to his death during a fight against Aquaman.

That's like, a synopsis of the episode.

The username and fact that he made his account only a few months ago should have been the clue that he is an obvious alt account troll, but anyway he's just trolling by referencing the fact that batman in basement is (for some reason) considered one of the worst episodes of the series by saying in his post that it's the best.

Anyway, I've noticed a theme that a lot of the episodes with children seem to be considered the worst, like the basement one and The Underdwellers. For my part I actually liked those episodes as a kid, in particular The Under dwellers a lot, especially because of the oliver twistish vibe to the episode. and I've got Batman in my Basement is the first episode to feature Penguin so I simply cannot hate it.

Another episode that I liked as a kid was the joker episode with the son of the mayor. That one was really really good and I don't think even internet people disagree.

But are you going by seasons or volumes? Since I own the dvd box sets I have volume 1, 2, and 3 which is pretty much the entire BTAS series (volume 4 is only for if you like TNBA, which I didn't as a kid but do now)

saspa

Land Before Time is my childhood. Secret of Nimh is straight up a good movie and a very cool premise.

Nearly all of the rest of those bluth movies are straight up garbage though, but I don't mind because competition for Disney was sorely needed since Disney was also nearly straight up garbage in the 80s, and that competition from don bluth with stuff like secret of nimh forced Disney to get their act together and give us what would eventually come to be known as The Renaissance era starting with The Little Mermaid, my childhood Disney movie.

And I say this despite actually liking Thumbelina and Anastasia as a kid >__> (I don't mind Anastasia but outright despise Thumbelina now)

Also, I always confuse Balto and Princess and the Swan as being part of Don Bluth movies. They have that same "not quite Disney" quality to them.

Lol the beginning of the end. Everyone praises this season and while I love love lithgow, I knew things would be crap afterwards. Especially after what the season finale did. And I was proven right.

Also, people forget that Dexter from even before season 4 started to focus on the side characters' uninteresting stories and it was like, who cares, just get to the Dexter stuff already. The showrunners seem to be unable to understand that unless the side stories lead directly back to the main story or affect Dexter in some way, they don't matter.

Not at all "anime in a nutshell."

None of them are lolis, and none of them have grossly exaggerated proportions.

For that pic to be anime in a nutshell, the one on the left would have to be flat chested and the one on the right would need tits the size of the middle girl's head.

I believe you mean this?

Yeah, pretty much. Now where's the loli character? There has to be at least one or else it's not a true anime.

But... the one on the left is the loli character.

Her breasts are way too big to be considered a loli.

I wouldn't even mind that so much if it weren't for the fact that the internet is for lack of a better phrase being "region locked" and even if you do want to pay or access something, such as say an episode of a show on youtube or amazon, nope you have to be in America to see it. Or rather, your IP address has to be an American one, even if you're American in the first place but happen to live somewhere else at the moment.

It's pretty sad how heavily regulated and controlled the internet has become, when its entire purpose a decade ago was anything but.

Nowadays, unless you live in a particular region of the world, you're royally screwed. I mean hell google knows where you live and everything you do or type. It even makes domains for every damn country and region and changes automatically from english to whatever language the country of the ip address it detects is in, even if you just want english and don't want to struggle navigating through like, chinese characters or something to get to the "change to english" option.

It's f***ing bulls***. And mega corporations keep tabs on all the citizens, and ISP providers throttle your internet if you're doing something illegal (but not immoral) with your internet.

The internet is indefinitely ruined for all intents and purposes.
