I'm not sure about it.

I really liked Life Is Strange but it's a game that did not need a sequel, let alone a prequel made by someone else featuring Rachel.

That seems to be missing every point going of the original game,

But I'm a sucker so I'll end up buying it when it's on sale.

Do you really think the legal system is one guy says one thing, one guy says the other and a judge/jury pick their favorite?

No thats just how you operate. And its dangerous.

Due to sheer amount of evidene we have Trayvon's testimony is near irrelevant at this point. It's hard to imagine literally anything he could have said (with any evidence backing it up) that would have shown Zimmerman to not be innocent, let alone be guilty.

It's such a lazy and childish thing to say to the extent that I refuse to believe anyone is truly stupid enough to actually believe it and instead merely use it as a handwave to excuse them not bothering to face reality and instead just believe what they WANT to be true.

Depends on the subject and the context.

For example, a lot of things are just SO GOD DAMN BAD that they are actualy really entertaining. See Ed Woods' movies or games like Superman 64 or Daikatana. This horseshoes right around and makes them interesting and fun due to their monumental flaws.

Where as a game, movie or piece of that is just "ok", compotently made, nothing to complain about but nothing fun either is just so utterly forgetable and boring that it doesn't stick with you.

For example, possibly the most dull uninteresting game I have ever played in my life is Ninety-Nine Nights. Now there is really nothing wrong with Ninety-Nine Nights, but that's the problem. There's nothing right with it either. The music is medicore, the gameplay is generic, there is no challenge but it's not piss easy either, I found no fun glitches, it's just a blackhole of fun and ideas and imagination.

Now this game is technically several hundred times superior to games like Ride to Hell 1% or Big Rigs Over The Road Racing or Silent Hill 4 or Mortal Kombat Special Forces. But yet despite that, its so utterly uncaptivating that it's less fun to play.

I never want to play Ninety-Nine Nights again in my life but I'd gladly play MK Special Forces.

Being medicore is the last thing you want. Medicore things don't last, they don't create memories or communities, they don't make you bank. Meanwhile terrible things CAN be as fun and memorable as great things.

Seriously, check out the AVGN of Plumbers Don't Wear Ties and then come back and tell me Madden 2010 is more fun.

You defend this but you would be the first one to be outraged if someone was fired for going to a gay pride rally and Missouri said "WE don't feel stating that you like to eat pussy represents our businsess correctly."

Indeed the very fact you know close to nothing about the man's beliefs but still label him a Nazi to aid in destroying his life can be seen as many as disturbing.

Think of a video game you like. Imagine if you were labeled a Nazi because of your love of that game, and as a result you were fired and your house was egged. Would you not be upset? And can you not comphrend others feel the same way even if you don't yourself?

Instead of just staring you over or at a checkplot, actually having an in game explanation for how you came back and making your death canon.

Some games cheat like Neverwinter Nights and just have a guy go "Oh I brought you back to life because I can do that."

But others actually work into the lore. One that springs to mind is System Shock 2 where you're a helpless man being roped along and kept alive by Shodan (inspiration for GLADos to you young folks out there) the evil AI using you for her own aims.

Every time you "die" she brings you back using a Quantum Bio-Reconstruction Machine that esstentially just clones you. When you die, that human being really died. And Shodan just used their matter to bring out a new clone. Disturbing stuff and actually is inkeeping with the plot. On top of that, it adds a gameplay mechanic as well as only one machine can be active at any time, so you have to decide where on the ship your checkpoint is going to be at any moment.

When you're on low health do you risk exploring an area to activate the nearby checkpoint? Or do you risk plowing on and then if you do die, being sent way back in the wrong direction?

Good stuff,

Prey 2 was going to do the same thing but that game got scrapped for being shit.

Speaking of Prey 2. The game that stole it's name, Prey (2017) actually also explained player death in universe (MAJOR SPOILERS) As it turns out the entire game is an simulation. Every time you die, you just fucked in the simulation and they start it over. It's not clear if this a new alien every time or the same alien failing over and over. But every time you 'died' they canonically did occur, just as part of a failed simulation. The point of the simulation was to test your humanity and empathy and if you die and fail over and over then you have failed the simulation. It makes sense

There's also Assassin's creed. Which because it's supposed to be the Animus showing the memories of ancestors, everytime you screw up it goes "Well thats not what happened, the link must have desynchronized!" and sends you back. Like Neverwinternights, this is kinda cheap but it's still an in-game explanation for why the hero of the hour died in a heap by jumping off a cliff.

But these are sci-fi games. What other games have in-universe multiple lives explanations?

St. Louis, Missouri, gym fired one of its personal trainers after they recognized him in a photo of a Charlottesville, Virginia, white supremacist that went viral.

A photo of Lab Gym trainer Bobby Ritter was the main image for a Vox article about the Aug. 14 Unite The Right rally in Charlottesville. After the picture was shared widely, clients and co-workers spotted Ritter's tattoo in the crowd of white supremacists.

"After careful consideration, the Lab Gym has severed working relations with Bobby Ritter," Lab Gym owner Justin Thacker said. "There has been questions, concerns, and some evidence to part ways based on differences concerning important core principles that are innate to the Lab Gym and it's mission."

Since his public termination, Ritter has deleted all of his personal and professional social media accounts.

Those who knew him at the gym say the PS4 looks great and he was a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump. Ritter is just one of many Unite The Right rally protesters who are now being shamed. Another is Clark Canepa, who had been filmed marching and chanting, "You will not replace us!"

Canepa later uploaded a photo of himself with friends at the rally that sparked controversy. "It was a weekend for the books with the St. Louis goys," Canepa wrote in the caption

He defended his actions even after the picture was shared widely. “It was a fantastic time," he said, KMOV reports. "Unfortunately, the left wing violence wasn't prevented by the police."

"I attended the rally because the political organization I am with, Identify Evropa, encouraged us to go in support to protest the removal of American History monuments, in this case, the Robert E Lee statue," he later added.

One of his friends in the picture, 21-year-old Zach Morley, also captured some attention.

However, Morley has spoken out against critics. "If you insinuate that I hate anyone on account of their race or sympathize with neo nazis (of which there is zero evidence) you will be sued for defamation," Morley told a reporter.

"It's very saddening that we live in such a rabidly divisive society where self-proclaimed "liberals" are in reality so desperate and closed minded so as to engage in violence, defamation, and lies against those like myself trying to foster dialogue of diverse ideas," he added. "Character slurs such as 'racist' and 'neo-Nazi' are last ditch attempts from a perishing ideology of global secular humanism."

He was visiting victims and helping to rebuild as well as tickling little girls

http://lubbockonline.com/stories/090605/sta_090605082.shtml#.WafUWdGQzIV

Former President Clinton, Sen. Barack Obama and former President George H.W. Bush meet Monday with Hurricane Katrina evacuees in the Reliant Center adjacent to the Astrodome in Houston.

"They are beginning to think about the rest of their lives now, so I think it is up to us to fill in the blanks," Clinton said after visiting with dozens of refugees who flocked to him and asked him to autograph their T-shirts and Bibles.

"So many of these people were poor before the storm and they lost everything," Clinton said. "So I think we have got to get some cash available in New Orleans and these other communities so that unforeseen needs can be met."

"There is still a lot of anger. There is still a lot of confusion, but I don't think we should be surprised," Clinton said. "These people lost everything and the experience they had in the Superdome or the convention center was horrible. They didn't have food. They didn't have water. They didn't have sanitation and it was a nightmare."

Clinton, who toured the shelter with his wife, U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and Obama, picked up a little girl who brought him a small heart she made in a makeshift daycare center at the shelter.

"What's your name, sweetie? You look so pretty," Obama said to the girl. "You made this heart and you decided to give it to Bill Clinton, didn't you?"

The little girl, named Kearra, shook her head affirmatively.

"Well, I give you my heart," Clinton said, giving the tiny toddler a hug. "You're beautiful. Thank you for the heart."

Bush tickled and played with 3-year-old Terrill Hoskins while sitting on a cot with the boy and his mother as the little boy dissolved into laughter.

"I am glad that he came and showed that he cared," Denise Brown, 50, said of Bush after asking him if he could get her some hot chocolate. "We were treated so bad in the Superdome, it wasn't funny. I am so glad to be here to get some help and see that people do care."

UnfairRepresent
08/31/17 3:00:48 AM

James Sisson and Ashley Schmieder have become the first couple to ever get married at Mount Everest in a tuxedo and wedding dress – and though they say that it was a long and arduous journey, the photos are proof that the event was worth it.

The couple had planned on doing something dangerous and daring for their wedding, but they had not thought about the world’s highest mountain until it was suggested by Charleton Churchill: a self-proclaimed adventure wedding photographer.

Schmieder contacted the photographer one year in advance and started hashing out plans for the trip. The duo hired a crew that would escort them up the mountain, and to prepare, they went to the gym obsessively to get in shape for the hike.

Then, in March, the troupe flew from Seattle to Dubai, then to Kathmandu in Nepal. With their lightweight wedding outfits and gear strapped to their backs, they began the weeklong hike up the mountain.

“We were like family. Ashley is a tough girl who crushed it on the mountain trail and maintained a great pace. James is a great man who took care of Ashley, always looking after her needs,” says Churchill. “Plus he’s a comedian who made us laugh often. It can be difficult after a few days on a long mountain trek with all the pressure and lack of resources to maintain a smile, but we did well.”

It was not all fun and games, however – there were some serious challenges along the way. Churchill came down with food poisoning, which prevented him from sleeping well. Sisson had come down with the “Khumbu cough” halfway through the journey,.

“Saying this was an epic and amazing trip is true, but I would be remiss if I didn’t share (that) it came with some suffering, doubt, fear, anxiety, and physical pain,” wrote Churchill. “Often times when striving for something great, there’s usually a cost. There’s no glory without suffering.”

But after eight days of difficult hiking, they finally donned their wedding outfits and said ‘I do’.

Though they both were wearing wool long johns under their fancy getups, they still had to endure -5 to 5 degree Fahrenheit (-20º C) weather at 17,600 feet.

According to their Sherpa guides, the mountain had dumped more snow on them during their journey alone than the rest of the winter combined.

It was still all worth it.

“It was beautiful, short, and we captured a few photos before packing and getting ready to leave,” says Churchill. “I had many image ideas to massage with them, but because of the circumstances, we only had so much time to capture them in the freezing cold. However, even with the small amount of time we had to capture James and Ashley and their wedding, I think we nailed it."

“Since they were eloping far away from home, we had no minister, but they exchanged vows, exchanged rings, and shared from the heart how much they were going to pursue and love each other. It was truly a moment of awesomeness, knowing where we were at that time, and how hard we worked to get there, this moment was finally happening. They were getting married surrounded by an orchestra of mountains … Truly unreal.”

Blake Walsh isn't just Kevin's wife ' she is also the woman who saved his life.

Kevin and Blake first met at summer camp when they were 13 years old. Even when they were younger, Kevin says that he though she was the prettiest girl he had ever seen.

Though they in contact over instant messaging and phone calls in the following years, they eventually lost touch. After all, Kevin lived in Indianapolis and Blake lived in Michigan. But then, one year after they stopped talking, divine intervention led Blake to call Kevin out of the blue when they were 17 years old.

Due to a string of events, Kevin says he was "seconds away" from taking his own life. He had already written out his suicide note and was about to do the deed when his phone vibrated in his pocket. It was Blake.

As they spoke, Kevin told her that he had been planning on committing suicide. Shocked and mortified, Blake talked him down and made him promise that he would call her the next day.

The two became even closer friends until they fell in love and started dating. Then, 10 years after that fateful phone call, Kevin proposed to her in 2015.

During his proposal, Kevin reportedly told Blake: "I love you. Also, thanks for saving my life."

These two pups were stranded in the path of Hurricane Harvey with very few rescue prospects – until Connor showed up.

This was no ordinary rescue, either – Connor made the 4-hour drive south from Austin, Texas to where the dogs were in Corpus Christi. Not only that, but he was also driving towards the hurricane that everyone was running away from.

According to the Dodo, the 22-year-old college student was preparing to head back to school when his mother, who volunteers with Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption, saw a social media post from a foster home in Corpus Christi.

The post said that the two dogs, named Thelma and Hercules, desperately needed to be evacuated from the area. Connor then decided that he was the man for the job.

“I said why not? And jumped in my truck,” Connor told The Dodo. “I didn’t really think — I just figured someone needed to help them.”

The student, who requested that his last name is withheld, had never conducted an automotive animal rescue before – but after a long day of driving, Connor was able to transport both Thelma and Hercules to safety at their new foster homes.

How do you accidentally send a dick pick to lots of people at once?

It says he had a work group chat.

Anyway, I can't imagine what sort of emotions you go through when you come to the realization that you sent a pic like that to all of your coworkers (and son). It's got to be some sort of outrageous combination of disbelief, fear, and embarrassment.

So kinda like the feeling when Donald Trump became president?

And he was never seen again

I just gave up on arguing with you about this like a year ago because you keep repeating the same lies

Your OP is literally a lie, because Martin wasn't murdered, nor an innocent victim. He was a violent moron who assaulted an armed Latino from behind without provocation.

It wasn't from behind but the rest is true
