He won a newbie season and went on to win the All-Star season against both winners, runner-ups, and third placers. The guy is a triple threat. Sangmin is better TV overall, imo, but his strategy often is 'all or nothing' and it's super flashy--but as we saw in S4 it sometimes just doesn't work. But when it does... it's the best. I find it amusing that Dongmin was one call away from being eliminated in S3 by Yeonjoo, and instead he went on to win, return, and win again. Kyunghoon is definitely the character with the strongest arc of all the seasons, though his loss at the finale really deflated it all. From a story perspective I figured - similar to you - that he needed to win to really make good on the 'Kingslayer' arc he was pushing all season. It's a bit of a shame he wasn't more likable though, because I was rooting for Dongmin going into the finale and was glad he won, but also kind of sad Kyunghoon just couldn't compete whatsoever. It felt like the Dongmin/Hyunmin F3 DM was the real finale -- and yeah, given the results of the finals, I wish it were. My season ranking is 4 > 3 > 1 > 2, though I was ecstatic when Sangmin won S2. Whereas I liked Hyunmin and Kyungran, I was so-so on Yohwan. I was accepting his crown after the first comp in the S2 finale, so to have Sangmin take it was amazing. But overall it's the weakest season. It's also easily one of my favorite shows, sometimes more than Survivor. Pound-for-pound it's definitely a better show, but then there's 30+ seasons of Survivor to stack up against. I would love 30+ seasons of Genius. Glad you liked it! Go go S5! :D --- |

| Peridiam 07/01/17 10:25:17 PM #6 | For any system I buy a game I'm hyped for on some level. I don't get hyped too often though, which means I don't go on crazy sprees ala Steam sales. If a game is out and I've wanted it, I'll buy it. If I don't know enough about the game I'll check out reviews, maybe gameplay vids, general context of the game/developer and go from there. --- |

I mean, I kinda knew it's very commonplace in the US, but then going to another country for a few years and experiencing it firsthand put owning and requiring a car to get anywhere into perspective. I also love driving, but I also loved not needing to drive. Although it helped that Prague has an amazing metro and tram system - cheap, efficient, clean, and always on time. Definitely the best I've ever had to use. --- |

Lara Croft Go is fun, a bit simple, just some nice casual puzzle solving. I 100%'d on iOS. Stardew is fantastic, I loved Harvest Moon as a kid and Stardew was more of the same but a lot better. I'm kinda waiting on the co-op before I get back into it. --- |

She didn't care for season two, mostly because she didn't like either of the main characters more that season, doesn't care what happens to them, prefers Gillian Jacobs as Britta (lol (we're also rewatching Community)), and finds Bertie's accent way too forced. But my wife is British and has lived in Sydney for a year... she has a cultural experience of being around Aussie's in a normal environment. I wouldn't care if the show keeps going. Though I do like it for the most part. --- |
