I am curious how end of life works out legally. Like Stadia wasn't very successful so it's feasible to issue refunds and just not deal with it. But, what if it did catch on? Say end of life was 10 or 20 years for now instead. The servers would still be shutting down and all purchased games would become unplayable. That's the NES game that started it all with Marth. FE2 is Fire Emblem Gaiden. That's the one with Alm and Celica and you are currently in the middle of playing the remake of it. FE3 is Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem and the first SNES game. It has two parts. "Book 1" is a remake of FE1. "Book 2" is new material and the sequel to Book 1. Both books star Marth. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon is the DS remake of FE1. I don't recall if it is closer to FE1 or Book 1 of FE 3. It's been too long since I last played it. Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem is a remake of Book 2 of FE3. It does not includes the FE1/Book 1 content. Sucking up exp was a big deal for sure. But, they were also considered bad units on top of that because they fell off before the final chapter. It isn't so much their growth are better than expected. It's their base stats hold up for longer than expected. Not all the way to the end of the game, but quite long. And yes, Seth does not have this problem. I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard he can just solo the entire game so it doesn't matter that no one else gets exp. --- My bracket looked like random picks compared to his. Like in FE7, it turns out it takes a long time for Marcus to actually fall off and there's more to the game than just the final chapter.
