Is Crunchyroll a good example here? Crunchyroll largely deals in anime which is infamous for having a lot of series that are one and done. Like I see people complain about a Netflix series only making it to season 3 but an anime even reaching season 3 is a lot!

What problems did people have with Star Allies? I'm not expert of the Kirby Hierarchy but I was under the impression people liked that game quite a bit.

When I started off a prison break, I had no idea it was going to end in all that. I also has the misfortune of starting that sequence fairly late at night so there was not much sleep to be had that night because there just wasn't a good stopping point. I still need to go back and rewatch the scenes knowing that M and Mio switches places. Like I think it might have been before "M" attacked the party so that would have been Mio pretending to be M playing the villain but I'm not sure. It was sad to see M go. She's didn't really get much screentime in the end. She couldn't really show up earlier because her mask effectively hid nothing. >_>

I said this a bit earlier, but couldn't Riku start helping a bit sooner? Like I get he seemingly wants Noah to figure things out but he's cutting it very close to the deadline!

Do you have Nintendo Switch Online? If so...
Get a bunch of Legendary Cores. Get enough Dark Boosters to go with each one.
Back up your save file and disable auto backup.
Open the Cores
Restore from backup if you don't get what you want.

Well moves carry on through evolution, so it won't be restricted to just NFE Pokemon. Although, the fully evolve Pokemon won't necessarily be that strong.

While I did find Hestu, I only ever found enough seeds for like 3 extra slots in my inventory so I can sort of imagine it. >_>

That's a big oof. My case wasn't that bad. I was rematching a monster that was several levels below me. So it was just a waste of a few minutes to do it again.

It wouldn't surprise me if the good stuff was behind higher level Unique Monsters anyways. So even if I wanted to get them all, it would be easier to do so after I beat the game and I'm going around clearing out UMs anyways.

Yeah, I was in the same boat. Also, if you actually do it that's another large stack of exp. Don't forget to actually put the Soul Hack skill in your team. Triton doesn't have it so just adding him doesn't work.

Something I've been wondering about Zelda 1 Second Quest. How was the player supposed to figure out they can just walk through some walls in a dungeon? As a kid, I think I just ran at a wall because I was angry at it and then it just worked.

Yeah, I meant every location with a visible entrance to tell the player to stop looking for more.

It's probably a pain to work out but I am curious how much these rules help. Like say one limited bombing walls to areas that don't already have a secret and only walls that can be approached from the bottom. I feel like one still ends up with a lot of places to bomb but maybe I turn out to be wrong if I were to actually count.

You can buy them from an informant? That wasn't in the base game before all the patches so I forgot it existed. Xenoblade 2 is not great with tutorials. In the past the general advice was the screenshot the tutorials so one could read them when they actually matter. Xenoblade 3 fortunately fixes this issue and lets the player view the tutorial whenever they want.

I wonder if the game will ever explain how Nia landed a job as a queen. She doesn't really seem the type to want the job. >_> I am bad with Consul letters. I've been referring to D as K for a while now. It's good to see J finally came to his senses and help take out D. The game is suggesting that there's still something important we don't know about the Moebius. I have no idea what it could even be. The party just kinda leaves Nia inside the Skykeep for some reason. Should she go to the Agnus castle or the City or something? Now that we are going on a rescue mission for Melia and the plot seems to be tying in more to Xenoblade 1 and 2, I wonder if any other old characters will show up. Like Tyrea should be around somewhere, right?

I'm 95% sure there was at the very least one dungeon (4 or 5?) that was absurd to get to.

Level 4 requires getting the Raft from Level 3 and using a raft point fairly close to the starting location on the overworld. Raft points are conspicuous but I don't think the game tells you that the raft can be used there.

Level 5 requires going to an area with a looping screen if you take the wrong path. You need to use the "Go up, up the mountain ahead" clue here and go up 4 times in a row on the screen below level 5.

Does either on sound familiar?

If 7 year old you was legitimately losing to Octoroks, I don't think your skill level at the time was high to really give the game a fair chance. Trying to explore the world while having to avoid all combat is going to make it a miserable experience even beyond the common complaints about the game. Not much joy in discovering a dungeon either since it just means even harder enemies and sometimes forced combat.

With that said, if the game really doesn't sound appealing, there's not much reason to force the issue and try again.

Burn every tree in the game is how I think I found it. I don't think I actually set fire to every tree. But, that was close enough to the start area that I got around to it before giving up.

As an aside, this reminded me of people going around hitting random walls in Elden Ring 50 times and I'm sad to discover that was just a bug.

A replays factored into the question? LoZ1 is great for replays where the player already roughly knows where everything important is.
