You might say it's just another 3D doll anime design... but there's more to it because of the lighting. The models are soft and dimly lit which makes it rather unusual and cool.

Does anyone know if the pixel remaster isn't complete sin against nature? So far the other ones have been acceptable, but FF6 is a special case due to the SNES version's graphical fidelity (which was captured on the GBA, although it lost some sound quality)

The previous FF6 PC port was nearly complete trash if you focus mostly on the character sprites (vomit), but honestly some of the monster sprites and backgrounds did look better... not many, but some!
