The bigger groups like Nogizaka still have their controversies. Like their recent center (new member too) had her past dug out where she was doing things for sugar daddies and shit. Also being a little racist in her Twitter posts in the past. She was understandably put on the back seat by management while they sort it out. Hope she doesn't get thrown out for being a stupid kid in the past.

Apart from the no dating rule, they actually take really good care of their idol members. To the point where they're given their favourite treats constantly and the best accommodations while getting modelling deals, movie roles, tv show slots ect which boosts their career big time, even after they leave the group.

So I'm pretty sure being a big time jpop idol trumps being a kpop idol in many ways. Even though both roles require a lot of work and sacrifices.
