The first game had it right, nice simple themes that were fun, small level designs that revolve around the playground principle.

Objectives that weren't overly complicated or tedious. In the first game most of the solutions were shoot an egg at it or smash it.

Also the proper application of musical notes to create a breadcrumb trail to important parts of the map

Well it IS possible and it would probably be cheaper in the long run but it requires some equipment.

You would need a deep fryer, and I find a gallon oil drum is good for saving money and re-using oil. Fries need a fry cutter to achieve the perfect shape and cut down on labor. If you have a lot of room in the fridge, you can do a bunch of fries at once and submerge them in a container filled with water (this is so they can retain moisture).

Chicken sandwich and soda is heck'n cheap and and the sandwich would end up being way better homemade.

Chicken is a simple process that involves cutting raw chicken into roughly chicken sized patties, possibly tenderizing for a more conformed shape. Simple Flour, Egg & Bread process, followed by deep frying. But season your flour.

True cooking gods will make their own buns but unless I am doing it for a specialty recipe I find it to be too much work.

First off, Cod doesnt need operators period. They are "heroes" meant to sell cosmetic garbage. Cod has almost always just used generic soldiers to play their multiplayer.

Also when you play a WW2 game, you expect to see people from 1930s Germany, Italy, Japan, France, Great Britain, and the United States. In this picture theres like only one person who fits this, being the Japanese guy.
Edit: oh there is one white dude that looks American hiding behind the row but he's lame and doesnt really look like the classic 1930s look anyway.

Sadly I think this will be the last WW2 game Activision does for a while, its a shame because their last WW2 game actually great but the target demographic hates the WW2 setting and it was the worst selling Cod since Cod4.
