its not on average, and its not only once you have complete series 3. If you have series 3 complete then its even faster.

Heres how Collectors Reserves work:
-Starting from your first Reserve, every group of four you open will have exactly one of each of the following rewards:

-a series 3 card (or if you already have all series 3 cards, 400 collectors tokens)
-100 collectors tokens
-a cosmetic item (card variant, player icon, or title)
-currency (credits or gold)

The order you receive them is random, but you will always receive all four of these per set of four boxes. Since the order is random you could get the same reward type twice in a row like this:

Card

Currency

and the longest you could possibly go between the same reward type is seven boxes:

since its 12 CL per Reserve, thats 84 CL.

additionally, in a set of 40 reserves exactly one of your series 3 cards will instead be a series 4 card. There is also a very small chance (you can look up the number, I dont remember it off-hand) that you can get a series 5 card, but I dont know if it is always in place of the series 4 or if it could be in place of any card.

Youre guaranteed 100 in every batch of 4 collectors reserves, must have gotten it first in your previous batch of 4 and last in your current batch of 4

actually by the math the longest you can go without getting any tokens is 84 CL

The decks I've been using are somewhat Leader-proof so he hasn't been a big issue for me. Leech on the other hand had been getting me a fair amount.

The one thing I would like to see changed on Leader is that if you play him without priority, any on-reveal buffs that the other player's cards got are applied to your copies, and then the on reveal happens again for you

Then again if you're playing Leader without priority you're probably making a mistake, so maybe it's okay.

If anything this might be an unintentional buff to him, the less likely you are to have priority going into turn 6 the better so you dont get Shangd

Not sure if it was a bot with a Mister Negative deck (that seems like a card they would avoid giving to a bot, but maybe not) or just a player who didnt understand that playing Mister Negative after Weirdworld only helps me, but they played their MN on 3 after Weirdworld revealed. Then they drew and played MY Mister Negative and Magik onto Weirdworld. Congratulations, your cards are no longer Negatived and now youre drawing them again. I got his flipped Iron Man and Mystique out of it so he had no chance

This is anecdotal but Yondu still seems to hit America a lot, so the change there might have just been to Jubilee

Im pretty certain Jubilee is not top card. I was running her with America for a long time and definitely did not get America from her with any higher frequency. Every other card that takes from the top (Yondu, Mantis) says so

Yes, he can be called elsewhere through Jubilee, Hela, Lockjaw, etc. The card says it can only be played to the left. Play is specifically when you choose to place the card from your hand to the location for its energy cost. No restrictions on him if he wasnt played.

There arent any cards like this yet, but I imagine if they wanted to limit one in that way the wording would be that it can only be in X location, like how Space Throne says only one card can be here for each player,

Maybe this isnt an intentional wording choice but it seems that if something says that it affects X-cost cards it exclusively means cards that cost X to play under normal conditions, while something that says it affects cards that cost X to play it means cards that cost X to play under the current games conditions

for example one thing you can do with Wave is prevent anything from being played in a location with Goose present (and if youve played Sera, your cards will only cost 3, which means that you can still play at Goose)

also note that when you play a card to the board, it displays its original cost again if you examine it

I do think its a mistake here that they still havent given details on how frequently cards will move down a series. All these new cards are pretty hard for the majority of players to care about when its near-impossible to get them. I have yet to see Darkhawk, Sentry, Bast, or Knull in an actual game that Ive played yet even once (Sentry was in my token shop the day it came out though)

They shouldve made Sauron like turn all cards at this location into Raptors to match with the comic page that became a meme

I meant since she costs 4 it will be more viable to use her if youre already using Zabu, not that she will become meta as a counter to Zabu

Oh yeah we should probably reconsider that conversation about Enchantress from earlier, Zabu is about to make her far more viable

I believe the menu still says the limit is 5K, but just ignore that. Its definitely 10K now

TIL when Rogue gets Cloning Vats'd, she keeps her stolen ability and can't steal another. That made me lose against someone who kept cloning his Patriot.

Yeah the Cloning takes effect after whatever On Reveal occurs. This is why stuff like Venom and Carnage are pretty strong with those locations

Korg, Black Widow, Iceman, Rockslide, Moon Knight, Doc Oc, Cosmo, Goose, Green and Hobgoblin. Who else, Sandman? Debris + Viper?

If you throw in Wave to get him out early, Odin to trigger some of these multiple times

If you put Black Widow and Wave in the same lane, then Odin it, their second Widows Bite will cost 4 if they want to get rid of it on the first turn they have it and they wont be able to play anything else that turn

Wave also works as a budget Sandman for a turn if youre up against a Mr Negative or Sera deck

Watched the new Pekora MV, thought midway through this kinda sounds like a hyadain song, went back to the opening credits and sure enough

I really dont like that if a play causes the game to end (usually a Limbo location getting changed on turn 6) the cubes double. I did not agree to a doubling when I locked in this turn. You get control of how many cubes youre wagering in every other situation.

The UI displays it a little funny, but apparently according to developers the mechanic as it currently occurs is the intended behavior.

Viper - This is the kinda gimmick I tend to like in card games but I can't think of many things to donate other than like rocks or ebony maw (who is a very conditional donate) or the hood. Not sure I'll ever use this with the current card set.

this guy snapped after 3 so I knew he was gonna Shang Chi my Hulks. He then made the mistake of playing Warpath immediately after clearing one of my locations, and paid the price for it. Mr Flop indeed!

Also you dont lose whatever gets played down. It goes back in your deck so you can draw it or pull it from a future Lockjaw play (and for some reason Leeched cards regain their abilities from going back in the deck. Not sure if thats intentional)

A Jubilee you can use 3 times (or more if movement is involved, or you Killmonger 1-drops) and also get the On Reveals of whatever the first thing you play is

I have the Patriot and Rogue versions. I dont use both in the same deck but I do use each of those frequently. I would use Abomination too if I got it, I dont use any of the other cards

Pretty good! Theyre also not so bad in a Patriot deck

I do use Angela and Sera a lotbut its not worth it

Sera is so good a card that getting to use her without unlocking her could put some people over the line though

Thats what Storm is for if its a Cerebro2 deck and what Scarlet Witch is for in a Cerebro3 deck

but thats also why I dont plan on making a Cerebro deck once I get the card, too many locations hurt it compared to any other archetype

and yeah the only permanent threshold for tokens is 500, the rest were make-goods for people who had been playing much longer

Ive had three or four games today where people make decisive plays and just never snap. Like if Ive got six cards in my hand and youre playing Leech, you shouldve snapped before locking in the turn. Im not great at snapping myself, especially since the decks I like usually rely on late-game swings, but in a situation like that theres no reason not to. If they stay in and youre genuinely worried, youre still only losing two cubes if you retreat

If he played Magneto center he wouldve won, right? Tie the middle, remove Omega Reds buff so right is now tied, and win left? And even if you played something to the right they win by total power

If you have Amazon Prime, Dishonored 2 is also free right now via Prime Gaming (gives a GOG code)

If Dark Dimension shows up, you better believe Im dropping Cosmo there and making sure I have priority on turn 6

same with invisible woman, though sometimes those end up being Spectrum decks instead

and since you have Rogue too, using Enchantress like that also may make opponents think theyre safe to play their Ongoing afterward
