A lot of this is eerily similar to the people who spent years melting down over TLoU2

So now we've moved on to harassment and threats to lower interest in the game.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's not so much about activism at this point but rather an excuse to bully.

I said at the beginning of the thread that I sank 100+ hours into Elden Ring

It's one of my favorite games of the last several years but it is not immune to criticism.

I do enjoy how often the slippery slope thing is employed. As if the game having a basic pause function is going to lead to a p2w Ubisoft nightmare lol

That may be the case for you, but it's definitely a creative decision.

Much like with the nature of the storytelling/quest "system" I don't think the argument isn't necessarily whether it's a creative decision or not. Just that it's a poor one.
