I agree about that. Part of it might be nostalgia but something about the original feels more satisfying to play than TTYD, even though TTYD is great in its own right. The music style and pacing just really seem to do it for me.

Have money to buy more games as well as less time to play them. My backlog went from nonexistant to 100+ over the span of a couple years once I got a job, and now I'm just learning to only get games I know I'm going to play right away.

Their 50 cent tacos are a guilty pleasure of mine. Could eat like six or seven in one go.

Did the HD version make them harder

HD version is still really easy.

However, they did add a hard mode along with an amiibo feature that quadruples the amount of damage you take if you use it.

If wall jumping is an intended mechanic, is it really considered sequence breaking? I really havent played much of that game.

It's an intended mechanic, but said mechanic can be used in really difficult ways to pull off sequence breaks. It's also just generally the game with the hardest one to perform because of its timing.

This is why when I do video walkthroughs I try not to do sequence breaks no matter how easy I may find them. It's how I'll approach Super Metroid when I get to that point.

I've got some hope that since the long-rumored Metroid Prime Remastered turned out to be real that Prime 4 getting released will shortly follow.

I feel like a big part of it is that Mandalorian seems already a bit stale.

The first season was great because it was new, but by season 2 and Book of Boba Fett (which was half The Mandalorian) it felt...not really as exciting anymore.

There's evidence that the game is more than a year away from release, so they probably just wanted to get the initial reveals out of the way first.

I don't mind it. That's why I seem to like Xenoblade 2 when others thought its fanservice was disgusting.

Also Street Fighter 6 has this same jiggle physics on almost all the characters.

Really? It felt the same to me. Just without the QTE of getting knocked out of the boat and having to mash to swim back.

I've always had an idea of rebooting Mach Rider into some sort of futuristic cyberpunk game/movie.

I mean, I wouldn't mind an NCU. (Nintendo Cinematic Universe)

Though I don't think they should all be connected to each other. I just want to see them tackle a Metroid movie or a Zelda movie. Or a Xenoblade anime.

Yeah, I just don't remember it. As a kid I didn't pay attention to the plot, lol.

The soundtrack was great too but I remember liking all the flying around in jets as a kid. I couldn't tell you what the hell the plot was about though.

Well it is called, Tears of the Kingdom not Breath of the Wild 2 and it did take Nintendo 6 years to make. 6 years!

I mean yeah, the six years had to have gone somewhere that they're just not willing to show off yet.

Then again, the Fuse/Ultrahand mechanics likely had to have taken a significant amount of dev time to get right.

And that whole Zelda cycle thing is, in actuality, people having issues/complaining about the most recent game and moving on, while the people who always liked it were more subdued and just get more vocal about it once the negativity is gone (or almost gone).

Capcom has kind of gone the conservative route with their games lately. They've been really prudish. They should be more like rockstar or cdproject red and say fuck it and give us the boobies.

I am whelmed. Weapon durability and climbing stamina are easily the worst parts of the new Zelda games.

Eh, on the other hand fusing an object to a weapon seems to be the game's way of "repairing" weapons since he did it with a stick about to break and suddenly it was like way more durable than before. So it's kind of a fix to the durability without outright removing it (with the plus of adding something new to experiment with).

There's already nude mods for the game but people are making them locked behind patreon or something because they know the demand is high.

So judging from how they're wanting to show off Tears of the Kingdom, the goal for the game is essentially to just expand on Breath of the Wild's idea of freedom. You're given even more tools for experimentation than before and more to explore. They're keeping story and the rest of the game content a secret for now because they don't like pre-release spoilers (Kit, who used to work for Nintendo, said as much).

And I'll be honest, I spent a ton of time on Breath of the Wild just screwing around. So TotK allowing me even more freedom sounds great. I'm curious to see all the different things attaching items to weapons and arrows will do.

It's most likely not a stream, just a pre-recorded video. Just wait a couple minutes and it'll pop up.

We are almost 100% getting Durability again. Fans expect a crafting system so you can effectively "bank" weapons and replenish them more easily, but I highly doubt they'd ditch one of the most central game mechanics just because some fans didn't like it.

I think the durability will actually get reworked into a crafting mechanic. The art book suggests you get to attach things to weapons, so perhaps it's just the attachable parts that have durability. Maybe you have to attach things to the Master Sword since it's broken.

Better off trying to find a physical copy on Amazon or something. Thanks to the storage space of the Wii U it's difficult to put anything else on there.

If we ever get to play as Zelda, I want to play as a capable one, like OoT Zelda. Some Zelda that actually knows how to use her powers at least.

Honestly at the end of Breath of the Wild (the story in the past) Zelda unlocked her Goddess powers and she's able to subdue Ganon nearly by herself.
