Yeah, console gets access a dozen or more hours before PC, depending on your time zone. PC gamers are getting the short end of the stick for early access.

One thing to realize is that Ravenclaw has the best common room. They even have their own private rooftop balcony, and if you're skilled with a broom you never have to enter through the normal doorways.

People often overestimate the rate of human development. The Industrial Revolution was the exception, not the norm. So people setting things 50 to 100 years in the future and expecting flying cars and jetpacks and stuff are just way off the mark. They should set things 500 years ahead instead of 50.

Nah, he's giving 'midboss' vibes to me. He'll likely be, at most, the Vaas of HL. While some games introduce the main villain early, they don't have the player character successfully fend the villain off at the start.

If you're that averse, there are Chalice Dungeon roots where enemies kill themselves for you, effectively giving you infinite points to just purchase things instead of farming.

The game will automatically pull farmed vials and ammo from overstock storage when you rest/respawn. But, you still need to initially farm some stock for that.

I mean, that's the adult perspective. Things only exist in absolutes to children. So an adult can look at something like Hogwarts Legacy and acknowledge the hundred-plus people that spent six years of their life to create the title, and that the larger HP franchise will definitely outlive Rowling and it will be defined by the fans and not one person. This idea that her presence, even as a single drop among hundreds or thousands of peoples somehow taints everything to the point where one is deemed to be irredeemable for associating with any of it is, quite frankly, a form of lunacy.

If it's the Threaded Cane then props, because that weapon is a bad match up against the Cleric Beast.

Most people have no idea about the social media minority attempting to have the game boycotted. They're just happy to have a great looking game that they dreamed about since their childhood. That's a good starting class for melee or bow use. It's better if you picked the gargoyle ashes. They also build up bleed effects, alongside your katana.

Or the reverse where you're letting a Little Sister escape and get to litter traps around the area for a wave-defense section. Getting a nice chain of Rivet Traps to go off was fun and rewarding.

If it's a compromise to avoid microtranscations within a game, I'm fine with timed early access. In the case of Hogwarts Legacy people got nervous when they saw 30 minute timers for basic plants being grown; a very common microtransaction practice is to pay cash to skip timers.

While Frey is unlikable and much of the open world is barren, and the awkwardness of the first 90 minutes jumping all over the place hits like an isekai delivery truck, the combat system is fun. The game will in all likelihood end up being listed at 80-90% off in two years, similar to the Star Wars title.

It was a downgrade in terms of gameplay from earlier Bioshock titles. Most of the battle areas were big empty boxes in Infinite. The limits on weapons and their version of Plasmids also felt disappointing.

Still not sure how anyone can watch the combat and think that looks good. The previews so far have been the character shooting the red spell three times then throwing a rock for the 4th hit in every combat scenario lol who would have known magic could be so boring

Eh, the combat is closer to a dial-a-combo system when played as intended. One of the color-coded spells followed by 3 basic attacks then repeat. If the enemy puts up a shield and your spell of that type is on cooldown you can try to bypass their shield by throwing an object at them instead.

If a player tries to spam the same spell as it is on cooldown their wand sort of releases a pop of sparks and prevents them from fighting for a second and a half.

It won't be the deepest combat by any means, but those that stick with it will be focusing on how to juggle multiple enemies at once. There are also very basic puzzle elements in how to approach a group of enemies for the best result, as differently named enemies have different attacks. E.g. among the Poachers the Duelists are aggressive, the Executioners summon large fire tornadoes, Rangers like to hide away and lift the player into the air, etc. So you'll want to prioritize dangerous variants, preferably removing several from stealth. Nothing fancy, but more engaging than mashing the basic attack.

On the other hand, it might be a ripe time to look into Pathfinder 2e. The options for customization are wild compared to 5e and they seem to have streamlined some of the clunk associated with their first edition, making things easier to operate without sacrificing the breadth of the game.

Late to watch, but there were some great moments in this episode. It's nice to see so many bots dialed in and ready for the spotlight. A few bots still have some gremlins, such as Malice, Lockjaw, and Rotator, but overall it's a tough season by all appearances.

Those armor plates on the front of Lucky and Hydra are a good choice IMO. In previous seasons that style of flipper tended to be damaged and destroyed in combat. Now it takes a big mistake to lose such critical parts.

Triton is an interesting bot in that it seems to be hoping to take over the style spot of Tombstone. But similar to Tombstone if bots can survive a hit from it then the thing just sort of fails over the course of 3 minutes. Most teams have figured out the benefits of angled ablative armor.

For an incident like this though the kids would just need their families to contact local news agencies to air the story and the school would get so much shit from the community that they'd backpedal any punishments. If they doubled down then the kids would be treated as local celebrities just to spite the school.

Monks should have the entire series of Martial Arts dice bumped up at each notch.

The Four Elements subclass should have the Ki cost reduced on all their higher tier stuff, and should get a freebie of a reworked flame snake strike or whatever it was called so that it lasts a minute when used: giving the Monk a 10' reach for a fight on the cheap. The subclass would still be weak, but would feel better to use.

Make it say, "Dead or alive, you're coming with me!"
