Snipers and revolvers got nerfed, stealth got nerfed. Most of the really good builds got nerfed. Even when half the perks remained broken the devs focused on nerfing things that became popular.

Well, not casting twenty buffs before a fight is easier for streaming. Like, I enjoy the variety possible in Pathfinder but if you dive completely into the mechanics it is a noticeably slower system than 5e.

Sounds like Critical Role will be considering the ORC license being proposed by Paizo. Whether they format their next campaign around Pathfinder or some new iterative system remains to be seen, but I doubt it'll be 5e...

I dont think that the books or the films are awful. The films are okay and the books are fairly good (apart from the first one. Ill never know why the series initially took off) but its definitely achieved far more than it ever deserved to.

The first movie though did a great job at bringing the setting to life. From what I remember the first book was really short. So, in that sense, yeah, it sort of took off for whatever reason.

From what was shown of the character creator, there are two voices, a masculine and feminine, and you can alter the pitch for either. The pre-set faces are available regardless of what options you pick. Last you can choose whether you're addressed as a witch or wizard.

If people did go after Pegg he already left himself an out in that interview. He specifically said he watched all the films. So he can later issue a public apology about how he is sorry for his ignorance of Rowling as the figure who wrote the books, and any hurt it caused, and that he swears to do better in the future.

And it's exactly this sort of false dilemma reaction that is garnering so much attention on the game. Just because Rowling gets a nickel in royalties or whatnot people are projecting all sorts of BS onto people who are interested in the game. Find a better use of your time than gaslighting everyone interested in the game.

You also have to keep in mind that she is one person, just one. Even if you limit the comparison to all the people who worked on Hogwarts Legacy she'd be one amongst hundreds. Then you have the film franchise, which also had hundreds working on it. Is there a point where her taint as an individual is effectively diluted?

There's also the limit to time and energy in any person's life. Do you think merely boycotting a game is an effective use of that time? It's already clear that Harry Potter as a franchise is so large and of such permanence that it will definitely outlast Rowling. Time and society will move on without Rowling. There isn't really a need, IMO, to deny an interest in Hogwarts Legacy simply because she exists and gets a few cents from every game sold.

Yeah, it was a good episode to start the season. Since a lot of bots are in top form this time around the technical aspect of being able to land the first serious hit will likely make a big difference in the fights. Quite a few fights were decided by one good strike.

Other than spinners I can see hammer-saws racking up a few wins. I don't like hammers, and I don't like saws, but combine the two for a focused hit and it does manage to thrash opponents.

It is possible to straight up die from hitting a hard floor like that, even as the bowling ball itself can potentially kill someone when striking toward the back of the head.

If the dude survives that without permanent injury he should count that as a second chance at life and ditch all the rest of the human trash in that video. The woman should end up in prison for that; but she likely won't given the circumstances...

One thing people don't think about with gas is the layer of highly flammable vapors that spread out along the ground around the visible puddle. I.e. that one dude was especially stupid to lean down toward the gas to light it.

But the problem was, EVERYONE was trying to get that achievement and it basically just destroyed the multiplayer scene of the game because no one was playing the game as intended. They were just running into people to blow themselves up instead lol

I wouldn't play it, but I wouldn't mind watching a 5 minute highlight video on Youtube either.

Yeah, agreed. It always felt like there was a bit of a referee tilt one way or another based on the team in question, and the part of the season.

On the flipside, weapon durability will be more important than ever, since a bot that has one functional wheel will require more damage to avoid a judges' decision. If your weapon goes out, you're finished accumulating points, barring a ring out.

Players can get that too, minus the locking grab animation. If you ever find someone AFK while you have the Soulsucker spell equipped...

The coins let you get the armor set.

It's not so bad if the employees follow directions and drain the oil from the tacos after frying. It takes all of 3 seconds to tilt the frying arm and tap it a few times to drain the oil. If they don't do that... the things become a pocket of oil...

Well, if you miss the plank bridge 5-1 would seem like a nightmare. From Software seemed to know that 5-1 was a difficult stage though, so the boss is one of the easiest in the game. 2-2 can be annoying, as you repeatedly dash past the miners and platform down the large pit. 1-4 can be helped a bit if you kill the Blue Dragon. It is possible to get an NPC to help you do that. He'll pull aggro while you stand under the dragon's head and fire projectiles up at it.

Eh, I forget if it's from the cartoon, but the ghosts all sort of hang out in a void dimension within the containment chamber at the HQ building. If the power system and the backups fail they all get loose and get to wreck the town until they're caught again.

I dunno, a lot of the random Busters hold the tether until it breaks, giving the ghost a speed burst and immunity to traps for a few seconds...

You have to remember that a portion of CE actively looks for things to be offended by, like they were 'professionally trained' by Twitter. So everything you say will be lost after the topic title reads 'woman cop'. If you're friendly with the Brotherhood you get early access to Vertibirds. As for who to pick at the end of the game, if you go with the Minutemen it's possible to keep all factions aside from the Institute around.

But, in general, Bethesda usually leaves any 'choice and consequence' gameplay to their DLC. Far Harbor had a fair amount of that. If you want you can basically make that place uninhabitable, or choose to inform the Brotherhood about the Synths there and have them raid the place, etc.

Well, Fallout 3 will disappoint then since it boils down to 'look in the direction of the enemy and get close enough that the RNG will actually hit them'. Alternatively, and much better in most cases, is to pick the VATS perks that turn the Hunting Rifle into a laser-accurate death-dealer from almost any range.

Like most Bethesdsa games your enjoyment might hinge on how much you enjoy the physical world space presented.

Yeah, you can be assured that Nexus modders worked diligently to create a 'downpatch' to permanently suspend Skyrim at a certain patch level for their needs. Heck, some people still swear by Oldrim for their esoteric and long-since-abandoned mods. Personally I couldn't do that. Oldrim is too barren and ugly, whereas SE is at a passable level.

Some people criticize the comparison, but if things go wrong you may very well be looking at a corpse... or two.

AE is just all the CC stuff packed together for one price. So by itself the updates to the game are necessarily to SE itself.

But to be honest, most of the time the complaints about 'breaking mods' is just because the 'unofficial patch' mod, which worms its way into other mods as a base, just needs to update like 2 lines of code to match the latest version number of Skyrim.

Getting the Advance collection, especially when it goes on sale, is definitely worth it.
