only if we make laws preventing the water from being used to grow Saudi alfalfa. that's a significant contributor to the water scarcity in the SW. i don't think we should be diverting water away from the midwest so the Saudis can have beef.

edit: the law should affect the SW's usage of the water too. they shouldn't be able to just waste away all of their water and expect us to give them more.

Ah yeah well 6-8$ for two 8oz packs of tempeh doesn't sound too far off, actually, considering how the price of all groceries have gone up the past few years.

I see name brand cereals going for $8-9 a box sometimes or a bag of potato chips for the same price and I think to myself...seriously?

yeah man it's tough. give another +1 for vegan food since it's generally cheaper (yeah yeah yeah, I was literally complaining about the price of tempeh two posts ago).

If you live in a warm environment and don't mind the process, give homemade tempeh a try. It's pretty cheap, simple, and very customizable. Chickpea and lentil tempeh is my favorite. Come to think of it, I don't know why I stopped making it but I'm about to pick up some starter and get back into it.

yup. but since mine also sleeps on the bed, we'd probably need a bigger bed.

If they were bred specifically for fighting dogs then that means they would have an unusually high aggression towards other dogs, not humans

aggression is aggression. if you examine data about dog attacks on humans, pitbulls are overwhelmingly more dangerous than all other dog breeds combined.

can any dog snap? sure. but the problem with pitbulls is that when they snap, they cause excessive amounts of damage because thats literally what they were designed to do.

Where'd you get your tempeh? I get it from Whole Foods sometimes but I don't remember it being that expensive

got one package from Meijer ($3.99) and one from Kroger ($4.49). this was the only brand either store had. recipe called for 15oz, so I had to get two.

As far as the Vitamin Water, when 50 was part owner there was literally a flavor called "Formula 50" and had a story on the bottle of how 50 would drink it while writing his latest album. They have since changed the label now that he's sold his share of the company.

It's basically just a Gatorade/Powerade like drink.

It's like saying Vitamin Water is a "50 Cent branded product" because he's was part owner of the company.

i visited the official site just to check it out, and the banner literally says "PRIME by Logan Paul x KSI", so Paul's name is at least being used in the marketing of this. I dont recall ever seeing 50 Cent's name on any of the branding or marketing for Vitamin Water?

will be interesting to see how this plays out and how they'll justify allowing the Bible but not To Kill a Mockingbird.

I used to think that it was harmless but looking at my friends who smoked daily for decades, I feel like it had a negative impact on them. One of them is barely functionnal at his job and keeps forgetting everything. The other one cannot handle any form of stress or pressure and only works low-income jobs even though he has a bachelor's degree.

no doubt it can have that affect on some folks. but then you have people like me, who have been smoking daily for 20+ years and get repeated "Above target" or better reviews at my six-figure job.
