Try out Master Duel first. It's free to download, and the beginning of the solo mode works as a really good tutorial on the different rules and mechanics of the game. Once you get the basics down in solo mode, then you can look into building a deck and going online. I haven't played the IRL game in a long time, so I can't really help you with finding physical cards.

The meme fight was as meme as expected, and Hypershock absolutely decimated Claw Viper to give them their first loss on the season. Hypershock may not be as fast in terms of top speed, but was maneuverable enough to keep their weapon pointed at Claw Viper, land some hits, and take control.

To complete dailies without winning and ranking up. Or maybe it's an account seller using a bot to build up gems on the account (from completing daily/lifetime challenges) before selling it online. China loves their account selling markets.

Gruff used to be a bot celebrated for their toughness, but now they've lost 3 fights by quick knockout and their only win this season was because Ripperoni's gyro went berserk and not because Gruff did anything notable. Time for the team to go back to the drawing board IMO.

They're not the only undefeated bots in action tonight, as surprising 3-0 contender Claw Viper takes on a desperate Hypershock looking to save their postseason chances. Yuri is My Job premiered today and it only took one episode for me to genuinely hate basically the entire cast. Even one of the girls being voiced by Yukari Tamura may not be enough to salvage the show for me. They're all just annoying c-words.

that is basically what Sony has always done throughout its lifetime. Denying games to other consoles by throwing money at the developers/publishers. Sony is mad they can't bully Nintendo around anymore and Microsoft as more spending money than them.

For us, it does literally nothing. For Konami, it means they have to refund less UR material back when they eventually ban the card because we only get the bonus for 1 copy instead of 3.

Indeed we are. I'm going to build it on my second account (probably the standard Ishizu version as well as one with Branded stuff because I heard that was a thing before the Ishizu cards came out in the OCG/TCG) and my main account will just cope with other decks like Spright and Floowandereeze.

How'd the Tear deck built mostly pure? No Ishuzus card because I'm of the opinion that it is the problem (and they're ugly anyway).

From what I understand, pure pre-Ishizu Tearlaments weren't even as good as Sprights when they first dropped. With the banlist hits they'll be starting with in this game, pure Tearlaments will be even weaker. The Ishizu cards are what truly break the deck.

I watched ALL of Marchen Madchen. Sometimes you just wanna watch the world burn.

Did you watch the decent-looking version from after the blu-ray fixes, or the broadcast version that was plagued by production issues and one of the worst-looking anime in recent memory? I've heard the show wasn't very good either way, so if I were to ever watch it, I think watching the ugly broadcast version to at least make it "so bad it's hilarious" would be the choice for me.

Letting you use traps on turn 1 is why Makyura The Destructor and Temple Of The Kings were both banned and later errata'd.

If those traps were already set on the field from a previous turn, then yes. But if the opponent summons S0 on the very first turn before you have the chance to set/activate any cards (which is when it would usually be summoned) then no, you couldn't use those in response. You'd have to set them and pray that you survive until your next turn without them being destroyed. The reason I mentioned Imperm specifically is because that card has the "If you control no cards, you can activate this card from your hand." clause in its card text, so it can be used in response to S0 without already being set.

Quickplay spells that negate S0's effect would work though, like I mentioned Droplet and Chalice.

Sales Ban Rhongo thankfully only works if they're going second due to how Numbers Eveil works, so you at least get to go first and put up a board to stop them. Still, Rhongo should also be banned. Fuck that card too.

If you happen to have a card like Infinite Impermenance, Forbidden Droplet, or Forbidden Chalice in your opening hand, you can chain it to the effect to negate it so you can still play that turn. Or you can use handtraps to stop the opponent from summoning it in the first place. The things is: Infinite Impermenance, Forbidden Droplet, and most of the modern-day handtraps like Ash Blossom didn't exist yet when this thing was released. Forbidden Chalice wasn't used very often, and the only notable handtraps around at that time were Effect Veiler (which only worked on the opponent's turn) and Maxx C in the OCG (but it doesn't matter how many cards you draw if this card stops you from using them anyways).

So in other words, this effect was very hard to stop from going off, and once it resolves, you basically lose the game. Even if you remove this thing by tributing it for a Kaiju or Lava Golem (AKA the only way to remove it since you can't use cards or effects) the lingering effect still lasts for the entire turn, and they probably kill you on the next turn anyways. It's one of the most powerful "you don't get to play the game" cards in history and should never have been printed.

I think after I finish this DLC, I'm going to take an extended break from this game. I eventually want to do two more playthroughs though, one with male characters only (to balance out my female characters only playthrough that I finished recently) and one where I use all of the characters that I didn't use in any of my first 3 playthroughs and the DLC characters. That way I use every single character in the game in a playthrough at least once.

Looks like all that's in the update is the DLC chapters, the new classes, and the free FEH items being made available to everyone without needing to connect to FEH. Since this is the last announced update, I guess it's time to give up hope for New Game+ or a "keep default outfit" feature being added.

I'd be curious to see that as well. Then again, I'd also like to see Tony Khan give HHH a call and ask him to be the head of creative for the new Ring Of Honor. Like NXT, ROH doesn't travel much, so HHH could have a lighter schedule while still getting to prove that he can book a good wrestling show.

If he stays on the business side, then that's fine. But like I said, I just don't want him taking creative control (AKA making decisions on booking and storylines) back from Triple H, who has been improving things a lot since taking over.

After the first weekend, the Marlins are 1-3 and the Cardinals are 2-1. About what I expected from my teams, but hopefully the fish turn things around.

I should put Storming Mirror Force back into my Labrynth deck. It's a battle trap so it doesn't get to go off as often, but it's the best normal trap I can think of that deals with monsters that can't be destroyed/targeted.

I have her in my pure live twin deck and she's so good when you need her. Plus getting to tribute one of their monsters is nice.

I just used her in my Labrynth deck to out a 6000 ATK "can't be destroyed/targeted" BLS Soldier of Chaos, then came back for the win after that.

On that note, who the fuck uses BLS Soldier of Chaos in Branded Despia? I stopped their Albion from summoning Mirrorjade by shuffling their Albaz back into their deck with an Ishizu shuffler, but then next turn they used it as material to go into SoC with its full protection because they didn't use Branded Fusion that turn and weren't locked into only fusions. It really caught me off guard.
