Instead of putting in stock images of prisons, somehow a photo of the Auschwitz concentration camp ended up being shown instead. They edited it out and replaced it with images of normal prisons when the video package played again during the main show, so apparently someone did catch the mistake shortly afterwards. This was probably just an accident caused by an intern googling for stock images and not realizing what he was looking at. Between Precure's 20th anniversary festivities, the Tokyo Mew Mew reboot, more Sailor Moon movies, and now this announcement for CCS, it feels like we're in a magical girl renaissance. No. I got close in X, but never finished it. masterpug53 posted... Gen 6 was the first time I even used online enough to trade for event legendaries, but I still think I came up a few short. Rharyx211 posted... X was the first and only time I actually tried and got close, but I never did. I think I was only like 50 away too, but it was mainly legendaries and mythicals I needed. I'm noticing that this seems to be a reoccuring theme. Pokemon Bank launching along with gen 6 and providing a convenient way for a player to have all of their Pokemon in a single place probably gave a lot of players more motivation to finally complete the Pokedex, myself included. --- https://i.imgur.com/PmF1p9q.jpg |

I assembled a full living dex (AKA having one of each Pokemon species in your possession) in Pokemon Home in gen 8, and I have all of the new gen 9 Pokemon in Violet ready for when Home support is added to those games. So I have all 1010 at this point. EDIT Since I see a lot of people bringing up event-only legendary/mythical Pokemon: If you caught or traded for all of the non-event Pokemon but were only missing Pokemon that were event-only, you can count that as a complete Pokedex for any of the poll options except the last "all 1010" one. --- https://i.imgur.com/PmF1p9q.jpg |

Even in "offseason" times, there was still plenty of art, fangames, theories, and other stuff to talk about. I believe it was well past 2000 topics already when the show finally ended. Malcrasternus posted... It's not even about the show anymore honestly, it's just a place for what's left of the fans here to just chill and stay in touch while occasionally posting art. Kinda like a makeshift discord group chat. This too. Apparently, Engage was in development at the same time as Three Houses and was originally scheduled to come out in 2020 to coincide with the franchise's 30th anniversary. But COVID delayed the release, and since they were already going to miss the anniversary, they decided to shelf it even longer to stick with Fodlan cast and release Warriors: Three Hopes first. But they used the extra time to polish the gameplay (particularly the Engage system) even more, and with how much fun I've had playing the game, I'm glad it turned out this way. Some other info from this interview is that the devs deliberately made this game very different from Three Houses, and that the game originally had a higher rating from CERO but things were changed to lower the rating and appeal to younger audiences. --- https://i.imgur.com/PmF1p9q.jpg |

The archetype is super popular and has enough lore behind it (through the card arts) to actually tell a story long enough to adapt into a manga. I could also see the World Legacy lore and the Albaz/Branded lore possibly getting similar manga later on if Konami and Jump see the Sky Strikers manga as successful enough to keep making more. God, I love this deck. DocileOrangeCup posted... well maybe im not playing against the right guys because when i play against sky strikers, its almost exclusively just get widow anchor as quickly as possible while drawing and searching a ton, and end with kagari and a 6 card back row. Would you rather have Skill Drain negating all of your monsters on the field instead of just 1? Or Appolousa negating 3-4 monster effects even if they're not on the field? Or Baronne/BorrelSavage negating 1 of any of your cards while also having a chonky 3000 ATK body? Or a floodgate Runick deck suffocating you with 3-4 floodgates while slowly banishing your outs and draining your will to live? Compared to some of the "fuck you, you don't get to play the game today" boards that other decks put up, Sky Strikers are way more fair and balanced. Plus, like I said, the deck inherently works better going 2nd, so they're automatically more fair because they actually give you a chance to put up a board that can stop them. It's a primarily going 2nd deck (which means I'm not relying on the coin flip nearly as much) that breaks boards (which I love doing), has a grind game for fun back-and-forth duels (though the Linkage OTK is nice the rare times it happens), has an in-archetype out to big towers (H.A.M.P.), isn't completely crippled by Maxx C resolving (because it doesn't special summon a lot unless it's in a position to go for the kill), and doesn't have a set gameplan so it can be creative with its plays a bit (like Kim said before me). All of that is a recipe to be a deck I would really like even without the cute girls and badass mecha aesthetics. How much Raye and the archetype appeal to my interests is just a bonus on top of that. I love playing against them too. No oppressive floodgates (theoretically a going 1st Sky Striker deck with stuff like Kaiser Colosseum is viable, but it's worse overall and I rarely see it), no annoying towers, they have very obvious chokepoints (Shizuku, Kagari, and Engage), and even though they have a good grind game they don't have unlimited gas in the tank. Plus, Sky Striker mirrors are also some of the most fun, skillful, and sometimes hilarious duels I've ever had in this game. Tennousu posted... Raye and her armors and maneuvers are fun until some players decided to pull out Sky Striker Ace - Accessw**re Talker. Accesscode isn't as easy to access now that Halq is banned and isn't as relied on now that we have Linkage, but it's still the best generic link for finishing off duels and people are going to use it. I don't run it anymore, that's for sure.
