Like so many stories set up the ultimate goal for the heroes and once they achieve it it's just like, "okay, we beat the lord of darkness, became the world champion, whatever the fuck, maybe you get a few minutes of epilogue, roll credits." But then Macross hits and it's like "Okay we beat the villains, and now we get to continue the story a little afterwards and see the "reconstruction" phase of that setting after all the dust is settled" I feel like that doesn't happen enough. People just take it for granted "Well after the main character finds the MacGuffin of Destiny of course the story ends" but like...there's still story potential for what happens after that character gets the MacGuffin of Destiny. >_> --- Lusa Cfaad Taydr |

The show establishes that if Ned touches a person he revived, they die permanently. Even if they become permanently revived when someone dies in their place after the 60 second time limit. I can't remember the exact details, but someone had noted that in almost every instance where someone had died because of the time limit, they had been in possession of the mysterious pocket watch that had appeared as a plot device (but never had the opportunity to be explored because the show got cancelled). There was something more to it but basically, the pocket watch played some role in Ned's necromancy power and it would've been safe for Ned and Chuck to touch. But it falls apart because one of the characters who died via timelimit didn't technically have the watch when they died, so it was most likely just a coincidence. --- Lusa Cfaad Taydr |

But when pressed hard enough they'll concede that "micro evolution" exists and that it's just "macro evolution" that's evil.
