They are e-bikes, so they probably have a full-electric mode, in which you don't have to pedal.

And even if they don't, the boost can be cranked up to the point where you barely need to use any human muscle at all.

From what I've seen from polls and other opinions, these puritan people are just another super vocal, huge minority that for some reason society listens to instead of rightfully laughing off or ignoring their crap. This is the usual dumbshit that the Internet always does: a small handful of aggressively vocal people say wildly stupid shit and then people go "this is what (political party, fandom, any group of people) thinks!".

The phrase "I know it when I see it" is a colloquial expression by which a speaker attempts to categorize an observable fact or event, although the category is subjective or lacks clearly defined parameters. The phrase was used in 1964 by United States Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart to describe his threshold test for obscenity in Jacobellis v. Ohio. TC, go swimming. Way better for/easier on the body.
I heavily reccomend Sketchers GoWalks. They're very reasonably priced (~$60) super lightweight and very breathable.
I work retail/sales and am too ADD to sit still. I generally walk 3-7miles a day at work. They're my go to work shoes.
If you escalate to actually running, Underarmor and Asics are both pretty pricey, but worth it.

3K is just 3 kilometers. IE: 3... k (short for kilometer)

Probably the Aventon or Gazelle one. You don't want fat tires on a bike, as you'll be dependent on the electric motor just to pedal it. (Fat tired e-bikes are impossible to pedal without an e-assist.)
