Nah there's other side missions with an involved story, I think.

No mission replay yet, they're working on adding that along with NG+ in a future update.

I thought that was the point of the post and why everyone was conveniently editing it.

They put in low effort crappy inclusion, so it can easily be cut out in other markets without losing any real value.

If they built strong characters with those themes and integrated them well with the game, they wouldnt be able to cut them out without it being cost prohibitive.

They would have to remake too much of the game, kinda funny how people responded to it.

There is a main story mission where a female character mentions her girlfriend, wonder how that was handled. Maybe that part of the cutscene was removed.

Yeah...them bending over so easily when releasing it in other countries like that is extremely disappointing. I guess they aren't that adamant with their representation.

Oh also, I just got to the Hailey side mission. I understand people want to buy a Spider-Man game to play as Spider-Man and do Spidey things, but it was a really cute mission regardless. I didn't hate it at all.

Eh, I would be a little peeved if it were a main mission. Considering how the side missions have been in terms of gameplay I know what I'm getting into with a side mission.

Edit: Funny thing I found out, at the Wakandan Embassy or whatever it's called, you can have Miles do the Wakandan Salute but Peter has no contextual button to do the same.

Something I noticed when collecting spider-bots: Peter has unique lines of dialogue for each bot when collected, but Miles has just generic lines like oh cool another spider bot or something like that.

This makes me want to skip any bots I see as Miles and only collect them when Im Peter.

Not sure if the lines are set, but I picked up the Ultimate Spider-Bot and Miles said "hey, you're copying my style! ...sort of." Nice callback to the character's comic origins.

I'm so tired of 2D Mario. In the end they're all the same thing. Is this supposed to be the new major Mario game, taking place of a new 3D title?

They never stopped making 3D Mario when the NSMB series was going on, so no, they just wanted to make a new 2D Mario. We'll get the next 3D title on the next console. I think the Wii was the only console since N64 that got more than one 3D title.

this game rigidly adheres to the Mario formula tbh. Lots of new and creative enemy/element designs but Im not seeing how this is notably different from NSMBU

I'm not sure what more you could do outside of different art and music style, turning off players bumping into each other in local co-op, having unique transformative gimmicks in each level, removing the timer, asynchronous online multiplayer, badge system that changes the attributes and movesets of characters (like a grapple) and free roam world map to be considered its own thing instead of "another NSMB." You have any ideas?

I think it's funny that devs are retaliating against the "too easy" complaints they get. First Sonic Frontiers and Superstars where the story DLC and Trip's Story respectively get to BS romhack tier difficulty, and now this.

Youtube did the absolutely nothing step that costs them nothing. Demonitizing a channel doesn't cost Youtube anything; they'll still play ads on her videos, they just won't give her a revenue share on them. You also have no idea as to how long that lasted; for all anyone knows "temporary" could mean 24 hours.

It was found out only her most recent video got monetization removed. Her other videos (and presumably future ones) remain intact.

So yeah, it was a nothing "punishment." That said, I'll just do what I've always done and continue to not watch her videos.

I was gonna say it's probably because they consider "Super Mario Bros." to be the branding for 2D Mario but briefly forgot about World. Maybe that's just the outlier, though.

Okay, so from what I've read, look in the options. They have stuff there that you can change like enabling fall damage and choosing how "automated" the web swinging is. Put web swinging on completely manual and enable fall damage and you can get the Raimi Spider-Man 2 game web-swinging exactly. Just be careful you don't splat into a building, it could kill you, lol.

I'm just going off of hearsay, I can't get the game until like 10 hours from now when the stores open. But experiment with that stuff.

Oh, the Sandman thing is the intro to the game? Well that's exciting, I was assuming the cutscene footage I saw was from around mid-game.

The only thing that it still doesn't get accurately is smoke physics. For being thick, dark smoke it dissipates too quickly. And I guess you can still tell if a human character is fake via uncanny valley. But still...

After seeing these and knowing that it's only a handful of the Wonder Flower effects that are in the game total (some of them drastically change the gameplay style), I can see the effort put into this and looks like a lot of fun. There's absolutely no way it is just "NSMB with a slightly different coat of paint" like someone on here is trying to claim it as.

Heh, you should look at Blazblue or modern Guilty Gear. Guilty Gear Strive's story mode is literally an anime movie with no gameplay.

This'll make web swinging a bit more interesting if you can toggle fall damage. That's something that gave the Raimi Spider-Man 2 swinging an edge.

I re-read that topic, and yeah, all Torgo was doing was making fun of the people complaining that the score wasn't higher.

Which, to be fair, I assumed the ones doing that in these Metacritic topics are being sarcastic and not serious.

I honestly have no idea if I will like stealth gameplay. The stealthiest game I've played is probably Sly Cooper 2.

That's a fair assessment, though I will say I'm one who is absolutely terrible at stealth gameplay yet I really enjoyed the MGS games when I played them a while back.

Despite what some people would tell you now since they turned on Kojima, the MGS games are still really good and landmark titles for their era. I think you'll have a great time.

I don't have a Netflix account but I'm a bit interested. It looks like a Suicide Squad-esque plot set in a world inspired by Far Cry: Blood Dragon, and as such it has a whole bunch of Ubisoft characters.
