I kinda agree. People think that the lack of active gore on-screen means they're "censoring" it, but I guarantee the same scene wouldn't have gotten the same reaction out of me if they just showed her getting cut up into pieces fully.

Less is more, especially so if you add a cinematic flair to things. IMO, the way they did this is better for horror than straight up gore.

Definitely recommend the prime seasons. I have very little interest in Spongebob these days because the style of humor feels like it changed once Hillenburg left.

I think it depends on if the video game companies that will be affected are willing to negotiate new terms right away instead of being stubborn like Hollywood.

Could be possible the latest update patch had the data for it already. Sometimes devs do that but it's usually only for multiplayer games.

To be honest, I really can't stand the graphics anymore. It's literally giving me a headache, especially all the haze which is I guess to cover up the horrible textures because it's surely not making the game look better. If their next console isn't a great leap over this I'll be passing.

Yeah, the fog is there to try to make the game look better for sure. If one were to remove said fog the game ends up looking like a modern Pokemon game.

But yeah, the Wii basically got them into a mindset of utilizing older hardware to the best of its abilities. Mostly a cost-cutting measure. The next console that would be coming out, I don't believe the rumors saying it'll be comparable to the PS5/XSX.

Topics like these usually come up when the TC is mad at a Souls game that they actually have to be patient and memorize attack patterns instead of blindly mashing. There is an easy mode usually anyway, it's called using a magic/ranged build.

It's better, but the fact they removed the clause preventing retroactive changes in the EULA in the first place just makes me not trust them anymore. At least it's good for people deep in development with their Unity projects currently, but I'm sticking with Godot.

They're being weird about the wording, ("depends on what you call open world") but they say that the western, eastern, and central continents are all seamlessly connected. There are "area maps" but there's no loading screens between them, and later on you'll be able to traverse the ocean with a certain familiar vehicle. Maybe they're hesitant on truly calling it open world because maybe not every single square inch of the map is explorable?

There's also a bit where they said the map is 1:1 scale (as in, Midgar in Remake was rather huge and it's only a small bit of the map), so expect lots to explore and lots to do.

I mean to be fair you could probably find novice level issues in most all of the games being currently developed by veteran developers period. The problem is more that people need to constantly up their disappointments rather than be adult about it and criticize or send the issues coward to the developers to look into.

I'm pretty sure there are people who do that, they're just not the vocal ones on forums.

Why is Gamefreak so notorously bad and optimatizing things? I heard for Sun and Moon, they literally have dozens of copies of the same models because only one of is used per cutscene or something.

They have programmers that still make novice mistakes and it's been persisting ever since the franchise started, lol. It's kinda pathetic.
