I never got a call, another letter, or an angry officer banging at the door about it. Lots of people must have reacted the same way. Though I didn't want to take that risk a second time. The next time they summoned me I filled out and sent back the form with a valid reason to be excused.

There used to be a shop like that in my town. It was mainly a Magic the Gathering and similar card game place. It was barely furnished, didn't maximize the space, totally bare bones. I never saw anyone in there, but it was open for years. Total front for something else, man.

My Nintendo Wii U. I only wanted one to play Bayonetta 2 but didn't feel like paying full price, so I got a refurbished one.

Lol, I looked up THPS3 for PS2 on Ebay, and you can get it for less than 10 bucks.

I am disappoint. These came out just looking like regular pictures. I expected at least a trace of Yoda, or Ackbar. Like, a doughy Yoda. Or Ackbar eating donuts. Something. :/

Also the A.I. failed to recognize The Matrix reference too.

I almost ragequit Singular Point during one of those endless A.I. phone screen conversations where they were just droning on and on about physics or whatever. But when the show actually showed the monster stuff, it was good.

Anguirus, Radon, and Gabara looked they could've been Shin Godzilla versions of themselves.

Um akkshually, IIRC it wasn't technically Gabara, they called it something else. But c'mon it's clearly a modern redo of Gabara.

Vs. Space Godzilla too, what with Chibi Little Godzilla and the lighter tone. The Heisei series was on the verge of going full Showa silly if they were to continue like that. But then Vs Desotoroya went super serious right after and ended the series for a few years.

I used to get really excited when Hasbro would reveal a bunch of new TF figs and they all looked cool and I pre-order most of them. Now I have to be really picky and choosy because I can't or shouldn't afford too many of their things at one time.

Like, I want to get 10 of their new offerings, but only pre-ordered 4.

I would like to eventually have the fembot Decepticon ship, Nemesis, but 200 dollars man, ungh. The Titan classes used to be around 150. I got Autobot Ark for around 170.

I hadn't been receiving my mags for a few months. I had other stuff going on in my life so I hadn't really noticed, outta sight outta mind and all. But I finally did notice when I got an email telling me how to access the latest issue digitally, even though I always specifically ask for the physical edition whenever I re-up my membership and subscription. So I inquired and they told me it's only digital now.

I don't count killing the physical to fully transition to the digital as "the magazine is still going". Clicking and scrolling on a screen is just not the same as physically flipping through pages in your hands.

There's still Fangoria, and G-Fan, and Heavy Metal. TOYCOLLECTR is fairly new and is pretty good. Pro Wrestling Illustrated is still going. My local comic shop always has a full display of the latest nerd culture mags, though to be fair a few of them are from the U.K. Empire Magazine is pretty dope.

But yeah there's basically no physical gaming mags left in the U.S. RIP Game Informer.

I will defo go see Godzilla vs Kong if they re-release it in IMAX. I didn't go out to see it because they insisted on releasing it during the thick of covid lockdowns, and I wasn't comfortable going back out to the movies yet.

Yeah I'm going by tempo and instrumentation on RPM. It has a good rockin' groove. That rejected RPM demo is they type of singing that I hate.

When I had to have surgery to cutaway excess tissue form my inflamed gums from having fucked up braces, and the novacaine failed to work and I felt everything. I was paralyzed with shock, fear, and pain, and couldn't speak up or motion to the dentist or the nurses my distress. They only finally noticed something was wrong when a huge, concentrated waterfall of tears fell out of my eyes.

Being able to feel every slice and cut of a scalped carving up my gums was not fun. It was like fire in my mouth.

When my little brother was, er, little, he had a case of major, major constipation because he would always swallow his gum. Apparently no one ever told him that you weren't supposed to. The X-rays were insane.

WTF, the actual RPM theme is way better than that cringe.

The last decent them was for Dino Charge. After 4 years of basically the same theme from Samurai to Super Megaforce, it was nice to actually have a new unique them that wasn't just a version of the orignal MMPR song.

The problem was it was too short. Just when it's getting really good, it suddenly breaks into the usual "Go Go Power Rangers" and then just stops. If the theme was allowed to be twice as long with a few more lyrics, it would've been a banger.

I am intrigued. My chief complaint with the movie was that there was simply too much material to cover in a feature-length film, and the vast majority of my favorite book got cut out.

Please understand, when they were making the movie, the books weren't finished yet. IIRC, the movie was written and finished shooting while books 5 and 6 were still being made. The movie needed an ending, and that didn't want to tease a sequel that had no guarantee of being made.

By the time the movie came out was after the books were finished and released, because it took that long for all the special effects and editing to finish making the movie. Post-production on a film like Scott Pilgrim can take a long time.

The source material was heavily truncated; Books 4, 5, and 6 were largely omitted from the movie. A series would likely be a more faithful adaptation by simple virtue of having more time to tell it.
