According to the credit pull from Ameriprise (with Equifax), my score is 829. According to Discover's TransUnion FICO, it is 798. According to Discover's TransUnion data: Total Accounts - 33 (22 revolving credit accounts, 11 installment loans) Length of Credit - 8 years 5 months Inquiry - 1 in the last 12 months Revolving Utilization - 4% ($5,079 of $130,900) Missed Payments - 0 I'm shocked. Someone please help explain. P.S. I currently have Geico for my insurances (home, auto, life, and umbrella), but heard Ameriprise might be cheaper... so tried getting a quote from them, and was denied. |

When I was shopping for contact lenses, I found out monthlies and biweeklies were a thing. When I asked for a sample of the biweekly and monthly one, they said they can't, because my prescription is for the daily one only... they said I needed another contact lens fitting if I wanted another type of contacts. I thought they were bullshitting me, but after I went to another store, and Google'd online, turns out it's true. So in lieu of spending $60 or so for the contact lens fitting exam, I'll just get the daily ones and wear them occasionally. |

Because I do not intend to wear contact lenses regularly, the doc recommended daily use ones. Now in the event that I choose to wear contacts for two days, instead of one day, it's okay if I reuse them (after disinfecting and putting it in a contact lens holder), right...? I mean there has to be some safety factor/margin built into it. |

So the idea here is that if something happens, I can just grab my gun, turn the TV on, and just wait behind the bed until they're right by the door... and just let loose. |

| IdiotMachine 10/21/17 3:59:41 PM #13 | I live in a upper middle class neighborhood, and my house has eight outdoor cameras, active alarm system (flood, water/gas leak, motion, door/window sensors, glass break sensors, and semi-active fire suppression system (aimed just at the kitchen stove)), and a couple signs and stickers outdoor stating as such. I also have a loaded sidearm in my bedside drawer (in a gun-safe), and a 19" wall-mounted screen, that shows a hidden camera footage of the corridor leading to my bedroom, so I have the upper hand in case some assholes STILL decide to break in after the alarms go off. *EDIT*: The alarm system is ADT (I think I spent like $500 to set up everything, and I am paying $25/mo for active monitoring), the fire suppression system over my kitchen stove came with the house, and the cameras I set up using Amcrest DVR and IP cameras. |
