Console sales report and gog which launch 27th iirc will follow later. The budget is closer to 15 million, not 5 million rumor from the media. They need around 300k copies to break even so they basically have turned a profit. But the devs have already released two post launch patches and have said another is inbound in a fewdays This. I am actually in contact with one of the community manager. At least he said a long term support is planned. They basically create a team of 10 people to visit forums/stream/let's play and take in feedback. Hell, one of my suggestion (save & quit feature) is being considered right now. They are also working for an expansion (free fo backer, and unknown price for non backer) with a new character (i suspect theresa from the tutorial) and additional cut feature from the kickstarter campagin will be added. Patch 1.03 is being certified atm. Will roll out in few days. Heimdall, the capital of erebonia looks like 1930-40's berlin/moscow and it was glorious. I guess liberl was best in aircrafts and general transportation system, while erebonia obviously have very advanced warfare related stuff. The other rural areas are prettt much the same, but the cities looks like proper cities and it just felt masive. Heimdall actually have main roads with cars and a commuter trains and buses. The culture itself is very different than laid-back liberlian. The political dissent is stronger due to some of the areas are annexed from independent smaller state and the nobles dont like that de to industrial revolution the commoners start getting more wealth and influence. It is just fantastic world building wise. Even when mechs are introduced, it makes sense in the world. Most of the reviews and from what i played around 4 hours so far that it is an incredibly designed rpg with sophisticated system and generally good questing, but hampered by technical problems. Should be safe in a month or two. Gameplay wise it is really too different to compare, but if you can endure the slow start of sky FC, you will fall in love with everything. It has the most fleshed out jrpg world ever, filles with awesome memorable character combined with some sprinkles of fantasy/sci-fi/political and philosophical theme and they are really nuanced and sometimes pretty subtle, but both the writers and the translator really have great talent and know how to bring the world and everything alive. Gameplay wise i think it is pretty good too and random battles sadly dont give the system justice.
