Yeah, it's been in the works for a while. Rumor is that it's essentially a test to see if there's any desire for a Constantine return. Supposedly it might return either on the CW or the new DC/WB streaming service that launches in 2019.

The writer choice is awesome.

I enjoyed Star Trek. My parents enjoyed The Orville. I go visit them on Mondays, and we watch a lot of TV they wouldn't watch otherwise and we've compromised on watching both.

This is what my parents watch in order of how much they like it:

-Lucifer (Everyone's favorite)
-Flash (Mom likes Harrison Wells and Joe, Dad likes Harrison Wells and Barry)
-Curb Your Enthusiasm (Dad hates, Mom loves, but Dad quotes it all the time, so I think he just says he hates it)
-Star Trek: Discovery (Everyone enjoys it)
-Legends of Tomorrow (Dad loves Heatwave, Mom likes the Atom ["he's cute"])
-Arrow (Mom is so bored with it but Dad enjoys it)
-The Orville (I dislike it, Mom sleeps through it but says she likes it, Dad likes it, reminds him of "old Star Trek")
-Designated Survivor (Not sure why we're watching this)

On hiatus: American Crime Story, The Good Fight

My parents would likely watching nothing if I didn't interject myself in their lives. But they have a capacity to surprise me; my Mom actually loved South Park. Remember that my mom is a music director at a church, so it's kind of amazing at the range of what she'll watch. My dad just started Game of Thrones this summer and we sneak in an episode here or there if my mom makes a dinner.

Anyways, that's my traditional Monday; I don't get to see my parents too often otherwise.

It looks terrible. It looks atrocious. It looks like Roland Emmerich's worst film ever. It has to be a joke. There is no possible way this is going to be a remotely serious movie. The trailer itself seems like a parody of a Roland Emmerich film.

I am dying to see it for these reasons. I just don't want to be the only person embarassed by purchasing a ticket for this movie. So please, someone else promise to go see what looks to be a steaming pile of garbage this weekend.

I think the Rumbles are actually getting sloppier over time. This last year really felt like a one-camera show. But some of that might be the directive to tell simpler stories so the few subtleties from older Rumbles are gone, however.

Of course, WWE never had the problems of WCW in presentation.

Bringing back World War 3 in some modified form would be awesome. I think the big issue is that logistically it was always a nightmare to show on TV, but that was a WCW that was notoriously bad at the TV side of things. Maybe turn into a 2-ring Rumble? I don't know.

On a serious note, when you talk about dissolving the standing army, what does that exactly entail to you? That's a very broad statement, and surely some aspects of the active military structure should remain functioning. Would you channel those functions to civilian organizations like the FBI or CIA or NSA? In the event of war or the necessity of sending troops into a foreign territory, how would you reactivate troops. Would bases be shut down completely in foreign countries? Would there even be skeleton crews available to those locations? This dissolution is I guess just a large blanket statement from my interpretation, although I might be misunderstanding.

EDIT: I hate when phones auto-correct "ther" to "their".

I wish we could start policing ourselves first. For example, look at these egomaniacs with no self-control who post politics topics outside of the Politics Topics. We say that mass shootings are often endemic to a society that doesn't monitor or care about the mental health of its citizenry, but the same is true of Board 8. People like Ulti, Vlado and foolmo are posting these topics in a cry for help. They are incapable of being courteous and posting their brand of mental illness in the topic designed for people who whore themselves out to political "discourse" which is actually just a chamber of psychological malfeasance masquerading as activism. The point is, Jean Grey is a terrible character despite what My Immortal may think, and anyone who is disagreeing is either a gun-loving fetus-worshipping racist godmonger with a fetish for racial supremacy masquerading as nationalistic narcissism or a spineless enabler of immorality bullying the righteous for taking a stand.

One love.
