You can get Moosehead in some bars around here but I've never had it. I usually just stick with the stuff I can get from local breweries since they're pretty good and why not support small business over terrible bud which you can get anywhere but you can especially get anywhere in St. Louis

If it's 2-2 in the 7th and Verlander loads the bases with no outs ar 115 pitches Hinch will let him keep pitching. The leash is four runs, but only late in the game. If he gives up four in the first Hinch will still expect him to throw five innings.

This game is crazy but it got too crazy too early. At some point the craziness started to become exhausting. Now when Bellinger gets a leadoff walk it really sucks because we just want normal outs for the ending. Also because I want to go to bed

I was just perusing Dan Haren's twitter because he gets into arguments with people all the time. Seems like his main target these days is Scott van Slyke because Scott posts about Jesus every day and how if you're still alive he's helping you and with all the people losing their homes and power and water that makes Dan pretty mad. The moral of this story is that Justin Ruggiano came to Scott's aid and linked Dan to a Facebook group for "flat earth geocentrism"

The Dodgers definitely aren't done scoring but neither are the Astros. I wouldn't trust a 5 run lead in this game.

I don't wish a loss of team on any of you but I think it gives you a weird perspective on sports. It's also partially because these last couple of Cardinals seasons have been so lame but I feel like I'm much less of a sports fan than I was when I watched football. These MLB playoffs are the most I've enjoyed sports in a long time.

What do you think is better, BotW or Odyssey? Obviously it's a question to revisit once we actually finish the game, but so far Odyssey hasn't captured my attention nearly on the level BotW did. I'm not sure if that's the game's fault, though. As awesome as it is to have two flagship Nintendo games in the same year, it's like the high from BotW hasn't died down enough yet for me to fully feel the Odyssey hype.

Maybe some of that hype was also misplaced, since I tried to avoid hearing too much about Odyssey, but then I'd hear things secondhand by accident and get the wrong idea. For example, I heard "open world" used a lot and I assumed that would mean there was some interconnection between the levels, but from what I can tell so far, that isn't the case. They all take place on the same planet, which is kind of cool, but it's still just separate selections like any old Mario game, which is a little disappointing. Hope I just haven't gotten far enough yet to find that there is some connection.

Still too early to say definitively but I'll probably prefer BotW in the end just because it's a very high bar to clear. I think both games are masterpieces though

Oh and I finally really dug into Odyssey. I'm taking a lunch break after a pretty long sesh. I don't have much to say because it just seems basically perfect so far and I don't want to spoil any of the thousands of perfect little moments for people who haven't played yet. I guess my complaints so far are that it's the first time I've played a Switch game that I feel needs to be docked (not that I won't play it on a plane some day, you just don't get the same experience handheld) and that it's weird how they keep telling me how to like roll or throw my cap over and over and over again.

Kind of a weird game but (obviously) a big win for the Astros. They only have a clear pitching advantage in the Verlander starts so it was good to steal one here even though McCullers was pretty much just as bad as Darvish. At one point he threw like 10 of 12 balls in a row or something stupid. Anyway. Wood is for sure better than Morton and it would be huge for the Dodgers to get one before Kershaw even goes. I predict that the Dodgers will win the next two games and then lose two in a row at home.

The Dodgers are lucky it was only four with how hard the Astros were hitting it that inning. Some lucky bad baserunning and hits off the crazy wall in left center

The Dodgers may actually fall behind in a series.

Zelda mobile is definitely a crazy idea though especially since FE Heroes is their most profitable mobile game so far. Can't imagine they're gonna go back to the Mario Run paid app model after that game was such a sales disappointment to them. Zelda will be free to play which means there will need to be a million unlockables which means it'll have some sort of multiplayer component. Probably not true co-op or competitive but maybe something like the online shadow fights in A Link Between Worlds. Also all of our Links will be wearing crazy costumes.

Edit: it's also possible that Heroes will never be topped by Nintendo because aside from Pokmon it's the only Nintendo series with hundreds of playable characters over its history. The real addictive element of that game is hero collection, not the tactical gameplay or the tiny multiplayer aspects.
