I don't think this is true at all. No one was voting for you, except for me, and in P231 you say you noticed it wasn't noticed, so I don't think it's consistent to say that "you felt jumped on early" but also "I noticed no one was jumping on me when Nana voted for me."


Then he deflects the conversation by "accidentally" posting about basketball and only starts cornering me again after I'm alone because I made a newbie mistake and deleted a post. Is this a coincidence?

If voting me was just testing the waters, why is he just letting it ride? Has he just not had time to come back yet?

I don't see that as a political view. I see that as an act of dehumanization done by assholes to feel better about their irrationality. It's something that everyone ethical should be against without condition.

Tony's overreaction to Zach's claim was definitely weird. Weirder was his reaction to plum calling it out. It was a bit more defensive than I'd think it would be if it were a simple misunderstanding. Also, not sure what to make of his sort-of softclaim early in the game.

Zam being weird as either alignment may be true, but that doesn't mean you don't expect players to make sense of their own logic. In fact, the weirdest players need to explain their logic the most. I don't feel like he's playing like a new player. I figured I'd toss a vote on the new guy to get "new player reacts" and got nothing. Maybe it's my CE background or my background from the forum mafia board, but new players typically at least react to an early random vote because they don't really understand that the votes in the first few hours can be random, especially with no reasoning attached to them. (This is why I voted initially)

His lack of response makes me think that he rolled up on the scum board and asked "What do I do?" (like every newbie scum ever) and someone told him to "remain calm, don't panic if someone votes for you, and post so you don't look like you're just lurking with nothing to say" - which is the cliffnotes for new scum. I feel he's really been non-responsive. (This is why I left my vote on him overnight)

Personally, I'm also surprised- there are players I would have figured would have tagged in with me to try to test a new player, or to try to test other new players, but that really hasn't happened.

Oh, I was reminiscing of games I'd played with MI and thought of YYH Mafia where, in the final 6, we MLd the Cop (Cecelia) who had provided exactly zero scans and had claimed to have been roleblocked every single night, and we had tracking on all the players and had come to the conclusion that the only way Cecilia was not scum was if MI and Tedd were scum together AND Tedd specifically was a Ninja roleblocker who was allowed to submit both the kill and roleblock on the same night while MI took no actions (this, of course, was the actual scenario).

Anyways, it reminded me that Tedd and MI know each other IRL, so I shot Tedd a PM asking about MI.

But now that I'm typing this out, it might have been @DamionDL that Tedd knew, so maybe I'm crazy/wrong.

Yeah I wonder why in a game of 5000+ posts where you have to use a site that takes 15 seconds to load each page, people didn't feel like reading the entire game multiple times. That's 25 minutes of just staring at the screen waiting for pages to load btw. Forum mafia is dumb as hell.

Like FD made enormously valuable contributions by just... collecting info we all already knew into 1 place. I wouldn't have known many of the claims if not for that.

We need a logging site that is fast and allows advanced searching and indexing and note taking of the entire game to avoid this death-by-volume. Timeline analysis and shit. Entirely doable.

One of the CE players was working on some code to do this, but sadly he quit playing mafia :(

Lynching anyone was a risk that paid off. But it was a pointless risk that didn't need to be taken. And if not for the surprise SE lynch it WOULD have been a mislynch. You don't get to defend it wrong action just because it happened to have a good result this time.

I get to defend the action because we didn't get the wrong result and I was the one who started the movement off of the ML and onto scum.

Was NL better than "Lynch donker"? Yes. Did we execute plan "Lynch Donker"? No. I tried to execute plan "Lynch Colzach" and we settled on plan "Lynch SE", both of which were objectively superior. You say this like it was dumb luck, but it's not like we didn't make the decision to move based on a whim.

Literally multiple posts above me talking about Day 6 information being good and key to the end Game and we get none of it if we had NLd.

Related- regardless of the game, this was miles ahead of the IrL werewolf game I played at Momocon. IRL players at conventions are garbage tier.

Unrelated- I've been trying to take the high score on the Street Fighter 2 pinball machine at the local barcade. Tonight I busted ass, spent about $1.75, and came out with the second highest score. I'm gonna take the top score by the end of the summer.

As mentioned, mafia had TWO extra kills, and since they never fired, you don't know what they have back. [because of this, FDs role meta math was weong].

The SM didn't flip as a 1 shot or an eK, so we only knew the Vig was an EK. No reason the SM couldn't have not been an EK and scum was holding one back. You never fucking know, that's the whole goddamned point

You knew there was 2 mafia left and every one was pretty certain there was 1-2 left in the vanillas so there was a high chance of either finding one with the 2 scanners or people getting confirmed if a scanner got NK'ed. We were genuinely worried because a combination existed from a no lynch that wins you the game.

Whereas we weren't worried about losing Colzach and in fact almost did do the SE bus Godfather plan that became the focal point of the final day.

No, you knew there were two mafia left, town can't guarantee anything.
