If you have a PS3 or 360, there's an HD collection for the second, third, and fourth games (Silent Assassin, Contracts, and Blood Money). If not, then they are available for PC and PS2. Some people like that and some don't. It undeniably has excellent production values. I'm sure you can get that cheap for PC, 360, and PS3. The sixth game, simply called Hitman, came out in episodic content, which was derided by many fans. Anyone who got past that was in for a real treat though. To specifically answer your question, if you are willing to start from Silent Assassin, that's great, but if you to start with one of its best offerings, go with Blood Money.
