I think it's worth it for me, but it's a joke because I live less than an hour from one of their distribution places. I got EVERYTHING sold from them next business day until Prime started. Yea; but let's be honest... No one cares about Kim in a vacuum beyond the meme potential. He needs someone to play off of to be taken as anything. Trump doesn't have that sort of a problem as he actually HAS that level of charisma that merely tacking his name onto something will draw attention to it. The 'Kim as a mortal god' type jokes only work when he has someone else to work off of (ex; him scoring 600 points in basketball only works if it has other pro athletes gushing over him or if it's 'when competing against crippled children' being 'omitted'.) Meanwhile you can do something as simple as gender-swap Trump and change his quote about girls to guys (grab them by the balls) and instantly the mental image comes to mind and the humor potentials become obvious.

It's why Obama doesn't get similar jokes. He didn't have that same level of charisma or the ability to be notable on his own. It can be funny to watch a republican hate him or a democrat gush over him for entering the room; but that's not because of Obama but because of the other people reacting to him. Meanwhile Bush flubbing an order or Clinton playing the sax can carry themselves as jokes.

HAHAHAHA! I'm not really a fan, but at least he can open his mouth without sounding like he's four years old.

It's very subjective. In my mind, you either need a grandparent from the place or be at least a quarter of it to say "I'm ____", otherwise it's stretching things a bit. Less than that, I'd just say "some ____ heritage". There can be a big difference between having ancestry and being something.

I get both sides. You can like where you live while still being proud of your cultural heritage. It doesn't mean they want Mexican laws or anything, they're just embracing who they are.

Conversely, I get the whole "you're American now" attitude, and that certain people may be rubbed the wrong way. I was largely raised around (European) immigrants so nobody cares, which indicates there's possibly some racial tension if people are only getting hot about Mexicans or something.

And I'm referencing specifically a hypothetical situation where a leader has been using rhetoric that in a lot of ways is comparable to classical fascism and Nazism (from the actual real NSDAP), and then this hypothetical leader starts implementing concentration camps while quite explicitly copying gambits that the actual Nazis did. I'm not talking about some racist libertarians, I'm talking about a context of successively more open fascism. At that point, do you think the epithet "Nazi" is inappropriate because it's "too strong" or is it just inaccurate because they aren't actually Hitler?

Trump's main influence has clearly been Goebbels. I don't think he could be honest about anything if his life depended on it. He is following that path within a different framework. The iron fist he'd like to have will not be afforded to him.
