A girl I know posts Instagram stories I would say 8-10 times a day. It's insane. She's like 26 or something and posts close up videos of herself nonstop. I always try to let them lapse without looking at them but most days curiosity gets the better of me and I look so that I can get pissed off. This morning it was from a fundraiser (her husband works for a charter school so they're at fundraisers to continue defrauding the city literally every week) and it was karaoke. You're not going to believe how funny karaoke is. She captioned them all like WHAT IS HAPPENING??? because white people were rapping. In one case it was an Indian guy rapping. What is happening? Anyway I say I know her but actually I see her all the time and her husband's birthday party was just the three of us. I guess the moral here is don't use social media

Imagine thinking you can take anything trump says at face value. Like I actually think it would be good if he follows through on pulling out of Syria but why would I believe him? Some other flight of fancy will enthrall him in an hour anyway

I probably won't buy it because it would be one millionth in line for games I need to play but Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen caught my eye

My recommendation is Yakuza 0, my favorite game in one of my favorite series

I bought a weird fighting game for like $0.35 on switch one time and felt like I overpaid

Fire Emblem is only recently a weeb series anyway and as much as I like those 3DS ones I'm hopeful that the switch one will get them back to the old FE storytelling style. If not I'll still probably put in 100 hours but ya know

But I also think that as with all things people would find things to enjoy in anime or visual novels and what have you if they were more willing to give it a try.

I think in my mind with games it's about what you put up with / what you like in a game and shit. So to play Mario Kart you don't need to have any appreciation or interest in japanese stuff but to play Danganronpa you have to be alright with big eyed big titted teenagers in school uniforms

The only downside to this project is giving chewy the satisfaction of being lowest rank

There are thousands of non metroidvania indie games like Super Seducer and Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator (STLCards1991 is a walking strategy guide for this one)

Also Dead Cells is a rogue like with souls and Metroid elements.

I don't think I even have half of the characters unlocked yet. Like I sort of said before all that single-player stuff just makes me want to play Melee. I think that was really the sweet spot, it felt so much bigger than the first game, but it wasn't so crazy that they couldn't make fun event matches or stuff like break the targets unique to each character. Every game after that it's kinda like there's too much content and I don't care about most of it. I need to do more with the Spirits but it looks like it's trying to incorporate RPG elements when I'd be fine if it was just a more pure adventure mode.

I read a post on here that said something to the effect of Sakurai saying the next Smash game is going to be some kind of reboot that takes it more back to basics instead of just continuing to add shit. I don't know if it's true but could be a decent idea

He said he doesn't think they'll be able to get every character back again after this, but that doesn't mean there won't still be 60+ next time

We siblings usually all go in on like play tickets for our dad and his girlfriend because it's simple and no one wants to shop for them anyway AND because he doesn't care while she will give an idiotic over the top reaction to any dumb bullshit

The hardest for me is my sister in law. She's too happy and too nice and it's annoying because her husband (my brother) will be like it doesn't matter, she'll just be happy to receive anything, and I'm like yeah I know that's WHY it has to be good

If my dad disowned me at least I wouldn't have to go to his house for a holiday ever again. The guy's annoying, folks!

There's like 1300 spirits to unlock and it's an alright mode but I can't fathom finishing the adventure mode

There's a shit load of single player content. I'm not sure what the answer to their unlocking woes is but I get not wanting it to be complicated with 60 unlocks to go through and I prefer this to smash 4 where there was no one to unlock. That's probably another way that Melee is unbeatable, best event mode too and spirits isn't as fun as event mode even though it's similar.

Any of y'all ever been to waffle house? I know it's a Midwest/southern thing. I've gone by them 100,000,000 times but never went in until this morning. Gotta say...it was a damn good waffle
