I am somewhat acquainted with a girl who used to run social media stuff with mlb so she would run those awful Twitter accounts that smack talk each other. You know the stuff that's engineered to get bird brained baseball twitterers to RT them and say okay this is just epic. Anyway she's just a normal person who had that insane job and apparently now she's doing the same thing for some silicon valley thing and making like a disgusting amount of money. Some day people are going to realize that social media guru isn't a job that needs to exist but until then make that money I guess

I just looked through what remains of my adolescent CD collection and the funniest things are a Three Doors Down album, Chuck by Sum 41 (aka it's time for Sum 41 to take down George W. Bush), and a copy of the Linkin Park and Jay Z crossover album that my friend burned me in 8th grade. The cool ones in there are Nimrod and a burn of the first Tenacious D album

It wasn't on sale but I bought keep talking and nobody explodes (I think that's what it's called) the bomb defusal party game and now that's a "blast!!!" But for real it's very fun and innovative and I'm going to bring it to family Christmas parties

I want to quit my job because it's boring but primarily because I can feel my boss growing to loathe me more every day and he's so non confrontational that he's probably just going to keep doing little things to keep me on edge until I quit and that's not fun

I tried to do a random Pokemon battle online to see what it was like (just type in three Pikachus and you'll get a random opponent) and the dude started the fight off with a Mega Mewtwo

I was joking when I thanked you because I had jokingly asked for score updates in the previous topic because some dummy had recently asked for the score (it's much easier to google it than to ask for someone on gfaqs to tell you which means it was silly performative sports liking) but I'll be sincere now and say that you're fine to post the score and post who won and stuff. I don't think anyone here watches sports on dvr or anything, and the code sports fans live by is that the onus is on you to watch the game in real time if you don't want it spoiled. The rest of us don't need to wait for you to watch the game 8 hours later before we talk about it.

Also, today I learned my paw paw still watches and roots for the Rams. My cousin's boyfriend is a Bears fan so they are also football fans. My other cousin's husband is one of those fans of the league guys who is from the area but I don't think really rooted for the Rams anyway, and then there's me and my brothers and my one uncle and his son who sort of casually follow the goings on but don't watch. I think that's it for actual football fans still remaining in my gigantic Irish family. Pretty strange on Thanksgiving.

One of my first memories is watching my older brother playing ALttP and shitting myself. I was probably 3. I don't know why I remember this. Not like I was shitting myself because the game was cool, it's just a thing that happened and the Zelda aspect makes it more vivid I guess

Speaking of games that are better but less nostalgic or whatever, the poll today asks for your favorite SNES game and I couldn't decide so I voted for Super Metroid since I played it most recently for the first time and think it might be objectively the best one. I truly don't know what my *favorite* one would be though

My experience with OoT is tied to my experience with Kingdom Hearts. I played Kh first and thought Kevin, you just played the greatest game of all time. A few months later I played OoT and thought Kevin, I'm sorry but this game is much better than Kingdom Hearts.

Wow. And it's still 2018. That's a value. Unfortunately I have to order Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5 Dancing in Sunlight so I can't afford a third dancing game at this time.

I use Google play music. I don't remember how much it costs. It's just a part of me now

All other things being equal, if you had to win one football game, would you rather your QB be Warner at the height of his powers or Favre at the height of his? I think I probably go Warner honestly. Favre obviously had the better career but I don't know if he was a better / more talented player and I think Warner at his best was like the GOAT. But also he was in my city so it's possible I'm biased

God of War 2018 is $21.99 on the PlayStation store this week if you haven't played it. It's quite good and that's a joke of a price for a game that's like 8 months old. That's all I have to say for now
