I started Let's Go and I love my Eevee (named Brutus) very very much. This is the best game ever made (way better than RDR2). If you don't get this game, throw your Switch in the garbage.

Do you ever act like you don't know something already IRL because you only know it to begin with because you're a weird freak? Over the weekend I ran into someone I knew and she mentioned that I'm on switch a lot lately so Pokemon let's go came up. She asked for a pitch on why she should pick Eevee and her friend explained that all Eevee forms are cooler than Raichu. She's right of course but also of course you don't evolve your partner Mon in Let's go. Should I have intervened and explained the situation or should I have joined in the Eevee conversation as if I didn't know that it was moot? Of course I chose the latter

Not long ago I was walking around the neighborhood and stopped in at a yard sale. It was some ex military psycho with all kinds of army bullshit and his friend was there with just a gigantic handgun in a holster. Imagine if that had been the mass shooting that I died in. I'm sure I'll die in one eventually but a yard sale shooting would be the lamest one.

We got basically two non contiguous weeks of nice fall weather here. It was 90 some days in October and now it's straight up winter already. Can't wait until it's like -5 in January and then hits 80 in February

It was awesome seeing him blast I from that angle because usually I'm not great at seeing where it's going in person but I immediately stood up and started yelling. Which would have been embarrassing if it hadn't gone out but it was such an obvious bomb

In my weekly "nfl scores" Google search I saw that the Bills were up 24-0. I said a silent prayer that I hoped Peterman was going off but it turns out it was actually Matt Barkley, which is also funny because it shows how bad Nate Pete is if Barkley can be enough for the Bills, and then I realized that I don't actually want Peterman to play well. I want him to play and continue to be the literal worst of all time when he does

I kind of get it living in tornado country. When the big one finally comes no one is going to believe that it's really the big one because we're too used to it by now. That's why people died in Joplin like 10 years ago or whatever, a tornado absolutely laid waste to the town but Missourians are just used to going meh, no big deal, worst case we have to sit in the basement for a few hours

True story: the guy who composed the English theme for DBZ just won a state Senate election against the incumbent libertarian

She does feel like the future of the party since she actually behaves like a human and has politics that younger voters like, buuuuuuut let's hold off on the coronation for now, could be in a year's time she'll be any old Democrat all over again. I have high hopes for her though.
