Can you give me a reason?

Just like that cake shop.

I can understand if these people were being rude or condescending but from what is being reported, they weren't

The cake shop has a right to refuse to serve whomever they want because they are private citizens running a private business.

The judge is not a private citizen within the context of her job. She is paid for by the US government to serve all US citizens. She can not refuse to perform her duties based on her personal beliefs, especially religious ones. Doing so violates the job contract she would have signed to become a judge in the first place.

Kids are dumb. Magic can make anything happen. They'll believe it. You literally just have to say "Santa changes his appearance all the time so he can keep an eye out for the good children. Anyone can be Santa so make sure you be good!"

Like....it's the simplest thing in the world to do.

What book though? I can't watch the video but Pryor didn't have a book with any slurs in the title. He did have three-albums with the n-word in them though.

All I read was a callback to 2013. Kind of a poorly edited article, too. Smells like clickbait.

I mean this part has me questioning it too.

"If I have no intent, if I show no intent, if I clearly am not a racist, then how can 'n' be bad coming out of my mouth?" Allen asked rhetorically to the outlet. "[The phrase] 'the n-word' is worse to me than n."
He joins many comedians in this philosophy like Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock.

Seinfeld was the only one during that sit-down with Gervais, Rock, and C.K. who did not agree with white people using the n-word and didn't feel like there is anything funny with the word.

I'm failing to grasp how a victim, an actual hero, who was disgustingly mocked and villified somehow shows Eastwood's political colors or anything.

That Richard Jewell doesnt imagine make-believe adversaries for Jewell certainly lends it a measure of veracity lacking from its predecessor. Still, that hardly earns it any points, given that at every turn, it makes such a cartoonishly slanted case against the feds and the media that it plays as a politically motivated Trump Twitter rant masquerading as a David-vs.-Goliath thriller.

This is what I don't get. They were cartoonishly evil. They turned so quickly on that poor man. I remember them talking about his porn on his computer as a "gotcha" moment in the media.

Telling an actual story of how those two organizations hurt an innocent person doesn't automatically translate to Trump. Correct me if I'm wrong but Eastwood has never been supportive of Trump has he? And didn't he express regret at the empty chair thing?

It's not about technicalities. It's two entirely different situations other than not knowing musical artists.

Yachty is basically a culture vulture for hip-hop. He is (or was) making money off of a culture without giving respect to it. That doesn't mean he has to be a fan of Tupac or any other of his elders. But he should know them.

Now Billie Eilish is more pop with a lot of techno/electronic emphasis. So if someone were to ask her "How do you feel about Shirley Manson and Garbage" and she responds with "Who?" very arrogantly, then the comparison would be more apt.

I never said Kentucky. I said the Midwest was considered the West because we were as far west as the US stretched. And as Manifest Destiny took hold and more and more states were admitted into the Union, the nomenclature changed to become the Midwest because we were in the middle (at that time) to the East and the newer states.

Superman - Just use the same logic as people argue against making Goku an Asian person. "But he's an alien!! Race doesn't matter!!' because it's literally the same thing.

Ghostbusters - They were new characters. It was a new Ghostbusters universe.

Jesus - He's been portrayed as a white guy forever because ya know, racism. A bunch of rich Europeans hundreds of years ago weren't going to fill their churches and paintings with a brown, Middle Eastern Jew.

I don't see how Indiana and especially Ohio can be Midwest when they're east of the Mississippi River, which is where the West starts, but if they are, Kentucky is the same as them.

Kentucky is not southern.

.....you don't know America history I am guessing? At one point, we were considered the West because we were as far west as American had established. As Manifest Destiny kept pushing out towards California, those states were "updated" to be Midwest. It's not literally-accurate but the name stuck since culturally we differ from the East and West Coasts.

As for Kentucky, you are arguing longitude but completely ignoring latitude. As well as cultural similarities, geographically, economic stuff, etc. But I mean throwing in Kentucky in with the Midwest because it's east of the Mississippi, might as well throw Tennessee in with us as well.
