This is why I don't drink tap beer at my usual bar. I'll get sick if a buddy and I share a couple pitchers, but not from 4 or 5 vodka crans. It's gotta be the beer lines.

I rarely ever trust a bar to have clean lines, unless it's specifically a craft bar with less than 30ish taps.

Places like Buffalo Wild Wings have notoriously disgusting lines.
Local bars with 7 domestic taps and a tap of Sierra? Nope.
That "350 CRAFT BEERS ON TAP!!" place? Yeah, those taps arent getting cleaned and some of those kegs are fucking ancient.

Thats why they have brown bottles. Slows that down.

But taste wise i prefer it even if its a clear bottle.

I made a sweeping statement that wasnt exactly true, but is true.

The biggest factor is storage. It all really comes down to that. Even brown bottles stack up in those coolers with bright ass lights on the sides are getting light contamination. Cans also keep oxygen out better than bottles do.

(I wont even get into the weight, transportation, and environmental differences between bottles and cans, since we're talking taste).

Of course, some belgians and wheats are better in bottle because of conditioning and a sort of "re-fermentation". This is also a case where a bottle is better than draft. Bottles can be carbonated much better than kegs, and belgians should be heavily carbonated.

Most people will say draft is always superior, but again, it comes down to care. Dirty tap lines and faucets being submerged in beer will just kill a good beer.

So, yeah, the answer is pretty nuanced, but the can stigma is bullshit and needs to go away.

Because the true answer is that regardless if it came from a bottle, can or keg, it should always be served in a glass.

I cant wait until we get a remake of The Stand.

The original was okay at the time. Very true to the book from what I recall. Some of the acting was a bit dull and the special effects were corny as fuck. Molly Ringwald is awful. Jamey Sheridan's portrayal of Flagg was fucking dope though.

In college I had a few courses with this dude that had tourettes. It was really unfortunate because on top of being inadvertantly disruptive, is was also one of the more "amusing" tics I've ever encountered and often people couldn't help laughing. :/

I mean, he had a good additude about it and was pretty cool and understanding.

Anyway, he'd go "HAA HAAAA!" like some kind of cartoon pirate, then slap his hands together in that "all done!" type gesture.

I really don't recommend an electric. They tend to snag hair and aren't very good with the "loose" skin.
