Not too bright. If Missouri is an open carry state, then he probably had a good chance at beating the charges since it's literally legal to carry a gun (provided that he wasn't making threats or whatever else). He pretty much shot himself in the foot by expressing an intent to cause panic or alarm, which is illegal. Hope he has fun in jail.

And there's a good chance he never gets to own a gun again due to the whole terroristic threat thing, so that's good.

It's fucking sad. What a deplorable state of affairs.

One's feelings don't change reality. The reality is, TC has a much better chance of dying in a car crash on his way to work today than being shot. Crimes, shootings, and overall violence have been in a sharp decline over the past quarter century or so.

These things are horrific, but they get so much attention when they happen, that people stop being reasonable because they're inundated by the news cycle.

Probably because nobody's been able to come up with a policy to do so that doesn't violate the Constitution, while actually being effective.

Also, keep in mind that, despite President Obama's words up there, he literally sold ACTUAL assault rifles to ISIS and other terrorist groups throughout the Middle East, as well as to Mexican drug cartels. He's one of the last people that should have any right to speak on gun control.

He was also President for 8 years and had a majority in Congress for 2 of those, so forgive me for not really finding much solace in his words.

I honestly would suggest that you install at least a handful of mods for your first playthrough. Community patches, texture mods, and small QoL mods can greatly help the experience. I'd also recommend OpenMW, which is an community made engine for modern computers, that uses the installed assests from Morrowind. The downsides to OpenMW is it doesn't have shadows (although they say next release will have them) and there are some really nice overhaul mods that can't be used with it. The plus side is that the engine has been built from the ground up to be completely faithful to the game, it's way more compatible with modern rigs, and OpenMW will eventually be the de facto way to play Morrowind after it is further developed. It also has the bonus of handling mods in a localized way that makes it particularly easy to install/uninstall mods without overwriting other mods or base files. It's a little cumbersome to use right now, but it's really not that hard to learn, especially considering how much of a better a system it is than normally.

As for mods, these are the ones that I'd recommend for a vanilla-but-slightly-better-experience (search their names on the Nexus):

-Patch for Purists
-Morrowind Enhanced Textures / HD Vanilla Textures / whatever other texture replacer. There's tons.
-Real Signposts
-Purist Friendly Magicka Regen
-Madd Leveler
-Morrowind Optimization Patch
-Project Atlas

There's also a lot of good information on the Morrowind subreddit if you're looking for modding guides and such. OpenMW also has guides and wikis on their websites, I believe. And if you need more help with OpenMW or have more questions, you can just @ me since I went through modding Morrowind with OpenMW about a month ago, and it's still pretty fresh in my mind.

Not an RPG but Far Cry 2 kinda does this. At the end of the game, all of your buddies that you saved, end up turning against you in an ambush. It's actually a fairly tough fight if you saved them all and kept them all alive until this point.

CBP has checkpoints up to 100 miles from the border. It's been like this for years, and there's tons of videos on Youtube of US citizens going through them while being harassed/detained/arrested by officers. This isn't something that has just started happening; this type of abuse of power has been going on for years.

It really depends on what you need. Do you have a monitor, keyboard, speakers/headset, or mouse? Those can cut down the cost quite significantly. And 30fps is not ok for pc gaming tbqh.

This is one of those games that I really wanted to play, but could never make it past a couple of hours. The dialogue is so bad. Like really bad. And it puts such a huge damper on the game, that I couldn't force myself to continue. I've tried to get into it like 2 or 3 times, but I lose all interest as soon as I start reading the dialogue.

Honestly diving into that one bloodkelp zone was the scariest thing in the game for me. The pda message given at that point didnt help either. Plus from there you can go to a bunch of scarier places iirc.

Such an amazing game, really miss it. Cant wait for the sequel. Its currently early access but I dont wanna play it till its done.

As soon as the music started to kick in, I hightailed it out of there. I thought for sure that there was something coming after me lol. Ironically, it's one of the safer biomes once you get down to exploring it.

That's a small step, but the system will always be broken as long as they allow the copyright holders to be the arbiters too. There needs to be someone impartial doing that, but that would cost a lot of money so it'll never happen.

I felt the same way initially, but after finishing the game, you really don't need it. The resources below 900m are few, and the areas are specifically designed for your other 2 vehicles. There's really nothing worthwhile below 900m that you need the Seamoth for. Also, you can use the default arm on the prawn to gather stuff without leaving the vehicle, and it goes directly into storage.
