It was never meant to have a sequel, but it did. Somehow they pulled it off and it was great, I liked it even more than the original.

But then the ending of that one made it REAL hard to have a good follow up. All assassins everywhere in the planet want to kill him now? The entire planet? Give me a break. And of course, living in the age we do, JW3 had to incorporate SJW pandering - enter the empowered spy womyn who don't need no man, who is so awesome that she can drink a bottle of water and then spit it on John's mouth just to humiliate him, and please include a 5 (or was it 10?) minute scene of her dogs castrating men with their jaws, because, girl power.

Don't get me wrong, JW3 was still a good film, just nowhere as good as the first 2, and it introduced many plot issues that make JW4 difficult to pull off like the supposedly dead assassin chiefs that will now be John's allies, the fact that there's an over-arching criminal syndicate overlooking the criminal syndicate, and that is oddly obsessed with civility and rules, and other issues like that.

I don't see JW4 shaping as a good film, but I hope I am wrong, I am a big fan of the first two.

Weren't there books that these movies were inspired by, or am I completely wrong on that?

I remember I got it at GameStop years ago, asked if all the games played fine and the guy said yes, he just tested it to make sure (as I was calling around to see who had it first). Brought it home, the only games that would play were the NES games. The others would just crash on boot-up. Had to convince my mom to let me go back and get a refund.

Never tried to get that again. I just found that weird since it was literally my only bad experience with a GameStop.

I wouldn't recommend playing it by itself, tbh. It leaves a few things unexplained that you otherwise learn in the main game. Sorta kinda leaves the ending a bit confusing on what happened.

But im impressed with the people that found the Easter eggs in shadow of the colossus. Uncovered an entirely new room with a secret weapon after literally a decade of searching and studying stuff within the game

Dunno if it's the same thing I'm thinking of, but I think that was something entirely new added in the PS4 version, inspired by the secret-hunting community for the game.

I've heard it's a perfectly fine game that isn't necessarily challenging. Certainly better than other games that are seemingly marketed towards young kids yet have far worse quality control.

Torna generally seems to be a better-designed game than the main game, oddly enough. And yeah, its battle theme is awesome. All of Xenoblade 2's soundtrack is freakin' great.

Still, similar concept. And I think the existence of Koopa the Quick in the huge version suggests that it's normally a supersized enemy land with a gimmick of supersizing yourself to dwarf everything else.

I think it's a mix of DmC influence and wanting to distinguish Nero more from Dante, since Dante already has long(ish) white hair.

I have a Switch and Astral Chain. It's a textbook example of a game held back by being on a weak system.

I respectfully disagree that the Switch held it back. I think they made a great game (and great-looking) and the only time the game gets serious framerate issues is one area in one mission when there's no combat involved.

Though I will say I generally am not a fan of exclusive third-party titles anymore. If future Bayonetta titles could be multiplatform I'd absolutely advocate for it. Hell, I want those Vanquish and Bayonetta 1 remasters to not just be Xbox exclusive.

For some reason I thought that Konami and Kojima would never meet again. That said I think Kojima would be better off making games not in existing IPs, because while I thought Silent Hills had great potential as a horror game, it seemed incredibly different from what Silent Hill is supposed to be.

I liked it, weakest of the Disney movies so far in terms of how ridiculously dumb the premise is when you think about it, but it's nowhere near as bad as the prequel trilogy.

Yeah. You can collect League Cards in the game and that's Nessa's. It's part of her Pokeball throwing animation where she lifts her leg up like that to prepare for the toss.

True. Forgot to mention if you're pretty close to them they'll spot you. Wouldn't recommend trying to sneak past if they're right in the middle of the floor in a hallway.

Fun thing about the Lickers, they're designed to make you jump (like looking in your direction/crawling slowly towards you and making sudden movements when you get close), but won't actually attack you if you never run. This even means into rooms that don't have them spawn in yet (like the hall where you first encounter a Licker...if you ran in there before the Licker spawned in it'll know you're there).

Hope that doesn't count as a spoiler. Just trying to give a gameplay tip to make Lickers easier to deal with.

I never really was interested in him before. But since he seems to actually be innocent on the "soliciting minors" bit, I'm glad he was able to clear that up. That's not a thing to take lightly.

I still think it was dumb to have an "adult private site" for his fans though.

This, tbh. Doesn't feel genuine when they go "by the way, we got an LGBT character in this movie! Brownie points for us, right!?"

I don't remember if they did the same thing with the gay guy in Endgame, but that part didn't feel forced anyway. I didn't even remember it until now and I watched Endgame like a few weeks ago.

TBH, Mr. X was great in REmake2, but I can't see having something similar with Nemesis only the entire game.

Hoping for just a bunch of semi-scripted moments like in the original. Decide what to do at a split second or have some segments where he's chasing you until you find a place to hide and he's gone afterwards, not actually stalking the city.

While I'm not a fan of how the advertising campaign was (they supposedly found a broken 30-year-old online multiplayer game developed for a Russian bootleg Famicom and passed it off as real until now) it looks fun. But yes, it's literally some kind of 2D platformer battle royale game.

Fact of the matter is most user reviews either bomb or blindly give 10s to the next big game. Happens every time. That's why I no longer trust user reviews. And hell, I don't even look at professional reviews anyway. I just do my own research on games and I end up striking gold 90% of the time on games I found interesting as a result.

Ah yeah, the different amount thing is a surefire sign it's not legit. And I believe the "it's just burned DVDs" thing, I've never seen anything else about this complete boxset anywhere else.
