It's like a small circle with a tab on one end, where a nail is attached perpendicularly to that tab, so that you can nail it down somewhere. The small circle is where you put the wire through.

500sqft per ton is rule of thumb for HVAC sizing.

For 6500sqft, yeah 5 ton isn't able to handle that.

You should realistically have two 5 ton units for the entire house.

So the HVAC guy recommended getting at least a 7-ton light commercial unit, because getting two units will involve resizing ducts, zoning, etc. (he explained it to me in more details, but I forgot now).

I talked to an HVAC friend, and he said don't do that, just get a second 3-ton split ductless unit installed in my first floor (the entire first floor is an "open concept", with vaulted ceilings and ~2,000 sqft of open space). What do you think about that...?

We have a 5-ton unit for our home, and it was freakin 81F in this house during the morning (when outside it was 95F peak). Only now, with the sun down, is the inside temperature going lower and lower.

We hired an HVAC tech to come take a look, and he said the unit is undersized for our house (approximately 6,400sqft house). He recommended a light commercial unit of 7-tons or adding a split unit in the main hall.

Had a leak, hired roofers. When they inspected the roof, they said some roof shingles were loose and the caulking around the windows and skylights are all cracked. They nailed some shingles and recaulked 12 roof windows/skylights in 45 minutes, then charged $300. The whole inspection to finish took a little over an hour.

That seems excessive to me...

Literally the first 10 minutes of the movie is a bunch of people in ape-suits that are grunting and jumping around with obnoxious ape-sounds. Then literally the next 15 minutes is of a flight attendant walking and taking care of a guy sleeping (side note: If this is her job, why the hell is it taking her that freaking long to go to the guy sleeping? She's like stumbling around as if it's her first time in space). Why is this not boring?

When you upload copyrighted content that is not yours, there are generally three ways it ends; the content owner tells YouTube to either:
A) Do nothing and let's you get the ad money,
B) Allow the upload but the content owner gets all the ad money, or
C) Not allow any upload and mutes/deletes your upload.

She treated me like I'm an idiot the whole time. So I get in, she asks what do I want. I say I'd like a natural look, more of the same right now but shorter. She said is #4 okay, and I had no idea what that meant... She pointed to another customer and said that's a #2 for reference, and I said that's way too short.

So then she said she'll start with #6 and go from there. She buzzed the back and sides, then asked if that's good; I said that is a little shorter than I expected, and she just shrugged saying #6 is the longest she had.

She then started to buzz the front, and I said I prefer scissors, to which she looked frustrated and got the scissors out. The front is better, but still too short...

She then asked if I wanted my sideburns to be long; I said no, just match the current style now (because why would I have long sideburns with short hair)... And its just a line now; not even faded.

What a terrible experience.

Wow what the shit they cut it terribly. She said #6 is the longest she had and just buzzed the sides and back, then used the scissors for the front. It took like 5-10 minutes vs the usual 30 minutes or so I normally expect.

The hair was cut way too fucking short and there's no fade on the sideburns; just a hard cut. No clue what the back looks like, because she didn't show me with the mirror (I asked, and she said they don't have a handheld mirror; wtf).

Can you call around your area? I don't know if you live in a metropolitan area or a more rural type of area but I'd be hesitant to use a chain salon. I've always had lackluster results with my experiences with them. Worse case scenario I guess you could just talk with the person at the chain place and figure out the right type of cut for you.

I live in Pittsburgh suburbs and I've tried calling the two salons I go to, and both were closed. As far as beyond that, I am hesitant; my logic says chain places (like supercuts, great clips, etc) is a safe bet because it's a chain..... They have to be at least average, right?
