this old site has a short explanation of how HP is determined

(wayback machine link)
https://web.archive.org/web/20050308211159/https://www.rustyiron.com/engines/rig/horsepower.html

DETERMINING THE HORSE POWER OF AN ENGINE.
Multiply the area of the cylinder by the length of stroke in inches and that product by the number of revolutions per minute then divide by the constant 10000 for two-cycle or 13400 for four-cycle engine, the result will be the I.H.P.

EXAMPLE
Four-cycle engine, 4" bore, 4" stroke, 1000 revolutions per minute, constant 13400.
Then: 4" bore equals 12.56 area, then 12.56 x 4 equals 50.24 x 1000 equals 50240 divided by 13400 equals 3 I.H.P. for one cylinder, then to find the combined H.P. for multi- cylinder engine, multiply by the number of cylinders.

probably not that useful

not sure but looking it up I get something like 15 cc = 1 horsepower and 1 hp = 745.7 watts. so 1 cc ~= 50 watts

the cc to hp number varies a lot though. seen between 14 and 22 cc = 1 hp. that gives a range of something like between 34 and 53 watts per cc. I think the 745.7 number is pretty consistent though, so if you have hp you can convert more reliably.

Name a boss weak to poison
hmmm. poison is effective on a lot of bosses, but seems maybe unusual to specifically be weak to it. I vaguely recall wanting to use Poison or Bio type spells on some boss in some FF game. feel like it would be cheating to look it up though.

Find an FPS with critical zones that aren't the head
fallout 3 or 4? but I can't think of any specifics offhand...

A game where you go to the Moon
Wolfenstein: The New Order

A game with brand-deal items in it
I dunno what that means. like real-life brand name items? or?

A talking sword.
Lilarcor I think it's called

Red barrels dont explode.
feel like I've seen that somewhere but can't think of it

You must eat to survive.
Exile games

You must blink.
no idea for that one

Sorry, I should have specified :) Its the Iron Clays from Roxley games so denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 :)
note that the denominations may not matter, as long as you can build the same amounts and not run out of bills. in monopoly you start with 2 500s, 2 100s, 2 50s, 6 20s, etc.etc. but who cares, what matters is that you start with $1500. (a much simpler way to start the game is to just give everyone 3 500s.)

for a game like Masterpiece where you have $1M bills, probably you can just scale things down (divide by 10,000 or something).

I think he's trying to say that if the game is running faster at higher FPS then technically it's still "frame-locked". ie: you haven't "bypassed it". bypassing it would mean (I guess) that the game isn't running faster despite high fps.

the smallest tactical nuke is something like 10-20 tons TNT (not kilotons, tons)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Davy_Crockett_(nuclear_device)

the largest non-nuclear bombs are between 10 and 40 tons TNT. (MOAB is 11, FOAB is supposedly 44 but may be exaggerated)

so I guess, the tiniest of tiny nukes is roughly comparable to the hugest of huge conventional explosives.

is this a wifi or wired connection? absolutely use a wired connection if you can. even then make sure it's a good cable with good ends that are seated properly. (if you must use wifi, check the line of sight to the router, and clear the path as much as you can. make sure there's no sources of interference near either device or in between. make sure that the edges of any antennae are aligned towards the target device.)

beyond a bad connection to your router, you might need to forward a port. reading nintendo's instructions on how to do this is not very reassuring though...

other things can be IP conflicts on your network, network cycles, etc. but it's not easy to diagnose this kind of thing without actually being there.

(another possibility could be space requirements or something, but I don't know how the switch works. maybe there's not enough space for this game, but there was space for the other game? I would hope this wouldn't be what happens in that situation, but who knows.)

The fact that they're convicted makes it a bad parallel as well. The US killed an active general in good standing with his government, which is why the assassination can be viewed as an attack on the government itself.
I'm not actually up to speed on this current situation which I didn't realized Lok was implicitly directly referring to. I was just looking for things that were the mirror image of "western country assassinates middle eastern terrorist" (with a loose interpretation of "terrorist" so that there'd actually be someone to choose from).

I always heard that children can learn languages more easily. Maybe not true.
as far as I know, technically not true. children don't have any more ability to learn languages than anyone else, they just have way more free time, and have been fully immersed in their primary language since birth. supposed to be that it takes approximately 30 years of immersion in a language to become maximally proficient in it, regardless of age.

terrible person to pick... no one cares if charles manson dies. (died in 2017 actually).

better pick might be someone like Edward Snowden (not a terrorist but at least maybe ideologically controversial). or maybe the unibomber, Ted Kaczynski, who at least has a possibly sympathetic ideology, though his means of expressing it were unfortunately extreme.

another possibility might be one of those military personnel who were convicted of abusing iraqi prisoners? then you at least have a western individual terrorizing middle easterners.
