Loved 1 and never watched another for fear it would have gone downhill like Die Hard and Rambo nope they dont go down hill at all all 4 movies are amazing but there is a shift in tone like others have said 1 and 2 take themselves very seriously 3 and 4 are action comedy films and feel more light hearted overall even when tragedy happens it doesnt feel as serious because of the change in tone. mel gibson going crazy later in life does make it hard to get new people to watch it but its still a great movie franchise --- yusketeer |
